I purchased the Yeti mic last year as an upgrade from my Snowball mic. I like the design. The base is sturdy and I like that the mic can be tilted to fit your needs. You can purchase a boom arm and mount as well if you don't have desk space. the sound quality is clear and crisp. I use the mide for voiceovers and it works great. You can also download the Logitech G hub and customize your sound if you like. This worked with my Windows 10 laptop and my video editing software. Audio quality OK, but broke after less than a year

No issues with audio quality for this microphone, but it broke after less than a year due to flimsy, poorly designed connector.It's kind of my own fault--I accidentally bumped it off a desk. However, the microphone and stand are very heavily weighted (perhaps to give the illusion of quality), and this microphone uses an extremely old USB connector type that is prone to stress failures. One little jerk of the cord was all it took to bend/snap the fragile connector pins in the body of the microphone. Best Mic I've Ever Owned

There is a reason why this mic has been the standard for gaming and content creation for about 10+ years now. I've tried both the Elgato Wave 3 and the HyperX Duocast mics, and I was dissatisfied with both of them. My voice always sounded muffled with those mics, and it was never crystal clear. I also tried the Blue Yeti nano, and it crashed my computer, so I would be weary with that model. However, I recently picked up this original Blue Yeti, and it has blown me away. My voice is crystal clear, loud, and overall just amazing quality. If you want to eliminate background noise, just use NVIDIA broadcast noise suppression, and it will be just as good as an expensive XLR mic. I couldn't be any happier, and I highly recommend giving this one a try!

Don’t shop at Best Buy

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! This Best Buy location is downright RACIST!!! The way I was treated as a black man was rooted in deep discrimination. The customer service here is deplorable. This is the most rude & unprofessional Best Buy I have ever shopped at in the 30 years I have been a Best Buy customer!!! The “supervisor” Jesus & the manager “Ajay” were extremely rude to me over a $100 return! I purchased it less than 30 days ago and they refused to return it. I told them I had been battling Covid for the past couple of weeks and was unable to come in and return within 15 days and was told “oh well” . Great Microphone for Recording and Gaming!

I made the leap (discovered this was needed last minute) and purchased an external microphone for recording and for gaming sessions, and I am so glad I chose this microphone. The sound quality is crisp, and especially during the muddiness of gaming, I'm able to be heard loud and clear by my teammates. Great upgrade choice from the Yeti Snowball

I got this mic after having the yeti snowball for almost 2 years. It is definitely a worthwhile upgrade. I use the mic to record audio in davinci resolve and I wanted to upgrade to something a little more versatile than the yeti snowball but not a $400 mic. As I've learned more about audio recoding the benefit of adjust the gain and pluging in headphone directly on the mic are actually useful now. You cab also adjust the audio pattern on the mic which is nice too. The sound quality is great but I wish there was a bundle that came with a pop filter. I got this $25 off because it was on sale, if it wasn't i likely would have waited a few more months to get it. Firstly, most consumer-focused audio equipment as an artefact of being sold to a less discerning audience has often really poor value for money, although there are some slight improvements in convenience. The fact that this expensive microphone is shipping with a usb standard that was outdated 10 years ago should’ve been the first red flag. I settled and bought it anyways. Out of the box, the headphone jack didn’t line up with the hole on the bottom and the included cable did not stay in. The microphone would constantly shut off unless I got the cable to the perfect angle where it could hold itself up. Even when the microphone worked, it picked up every noise (even noises behind it) no matter which setting I had it on. I bought a $25 Amazon mic with a headphone output, usb-c, volume/mic controls, and a noise cancelling setting. It even took up less space on my desk. My friends kept saying how clear it sounded even on default settings. I bought this largely due to all the positive ratings it had and I am terribly disappointed. Once I figure out if I can return it without a box I will be returning it. It seems to be a quality product that uses quality materials, and software/driver wise I have no issues there either. I bought this to do voiceovers for YouTube and even on the cardioid setting with the gain all the way down it picks up my voice bouncing off the monitor as I narrate. I have been playing with different software and drivers for it with all the same outcomes which leads me to believe that this mic simply isn't for me.
