You can definitely notice the difference using this product. The air feel cleaner/fresher and the house is less dusty. The night function is super quiet. We have been so impressed by this product we have bought another one!

Excellent product. Works well in our office, keeping the air fresh and free from the smell of food, perfumes and cleaning products. It also reduces the presence of dust, which is a bonus.
In addition to this Blueair, I also have a Philips 2000 air purifier. The Philips was mainly used for dust and HEPA filtering, but did little for the backburning smoke that Sydney experiences every summer. I have found that Blueair does the opposite, and that it does a good job (if not expensive) job at reducing smoke smells, but does not do much for dust particules (the filter area is smaller). But that's okay, both have their strengths and weaknesses and I do plan on using them in tandem.
Despite spending so much on this air purifier, I was sceptical as to how much difference it would make, but my daughter's asthma was getting worse and I thought it was worth a try. The quality of air in her room now is unbelievable. We have an elderly cat that spends a lot of time in her room, and even the cat odour disappears when the unit is running. I am amazed at the difference.
Unfortunately for a Blueair product it's cheaply made, looking like a large plastic box compared to other Blueair air purifiers of around the same price range. The sensor is unfortunately on the back so the unit takes slightly longer to kick in on auto. If you don't like grey you can always choose a different colour from the manufacturers website. But, you'll always have to live with the white top compartment. Handy that the lower grey cover is also the first filter and can be easily washed. The same price as the manufacturers website, but they're site has much more effective purifiers which can be larger but have just side inlets and outlets, especially if you don't have the room for a large cube. But they are large beasts and not all have sensors. Needs to have ... Incredible - helped save my apartment from insane amounts of dust (needed to dust daily). It's quiet, its size isn't too big, it looks pretty and fits into the surroundings, and covers quite a decent area in terms of purification. I put it in the living room of my 2-bed apartment and it helped lessen the dust in the bedrooms as well.

My partner and I like to pan fry or stir fry food and sometimes can make our open plan kitchen quite smoky for a while. We bought Blue 3610 after another day the house is covered with smoke from fried salmon. It works great and the automatically turning up/down based on the indoor air quality function is exactly what we are after. We really like this purchase and would recommend it.
