They will give you an automated response saying it's because of wear and tear, and it's not a result of the construction, workmanship, or materials.I put a warranty claim in on a pair of kids boots that were around 4 years old, never abused, and always cleaned and taken care of. Wendy B., Blunstone in general makes excellent boots. I can’t imagine any company would still be in business if everyone returned the items they purchased after owning them for years and then deciding to wear them.Also, kids footwear is not designed for an adult’s foot or for the weight of an adult. The fact that you were wearing a child’s shoe is likely why the sole cracked and broke so soon. If you also stored the boots for those 2 years where the temperature fluctuates from very cold to hot that would damage the leather sole, etc.If it were my company, I would say sorry about your boots, maybe try an adult size. 🙂

I purchased a pair of kids size 3 aus for myself a few years ago. Initially I wore them occasionally, but started wearing them a little more often 2 years ago. I wish pictures could be posted on this site but I can't. Both souls cracked right in half with gapping holes in them. I contacted Blundstone Canada and was told that childrens shoes are not warrantied for faults. What!!! Why the f.....k not? Its appalling to me that a company as large as this one will not stand behind ALL of there products.

I bought these boots with some trepidation as my last pair didn't last a year. The soles had all peeled off and I wore them much less in winter. Expensive boots for the quality. I'm making a second attempt as I like the model but I'm stressed.
My son loves these boots, especially the plaid details on the inside. They seem to be the same high quality and consruction as my Blundstones! Just pay attention to the Australian vs. North American sizing when ordering.
I ( an adult 5" ;) ) have been wearing size 3 children's Bluestone's for years and have never had a problem. I love them!! As a matter of fact my current pair that I wear most of the winter are 4 years old and because I take care of them, they look and still feel great! Looking forward to adding to my collection. BTW - I happen to be a footcare specialist and 100% if you leave any rubber soled footwear for years the rubber will deteriorate not matter what brand. That care of your shoes and they will walk miles with you! :)
These were exactly what I was looking for my 5 year old granddaughter who is just learning to ride. The addition of the insole is genius to ensure longer fit. Quality material.
The boots were for my grandson's birthday. They are his 2nd pair, the first lasted for 3 years and he absolutely loved wearing them .... everywhere. I know his new boots, which look fabulous on him, will be a constant fashion statement for quite a while.
Bought them for my 5year old daughter. Very versatile little booties, can be dressed up or down for a casual look. She’s worn them long enough and hasn’t complained about them being too heavy nor has she had any blisters. Love the brown hue, the leather is supple enough to hold its shape and not dig into the ankles while walking. The leather is beautiful and I know these boots will last long enough to be passed down to my two younger kids. Definitely recommend!
