I love my very-broken-in Blundstone 500s, and have had my eye on these slightly dressier ones for a few months. Hard to find them in stock anywhere! They are just as good as I hoped. Cute with skirts and trousers. Seem solid and well made, but not too clunky or heavy.For sizing: I am normally a 7, and wear the standard 7 in the 500s. Thanks to other reviewers who said these run small, I ordered a 7.5 and 8. I decided to keep the 7.5 even though it felt snug over the top of the foot. Right decision - within a couple short wears, it conforms to my feet and is super comfortable. So if you have to size up, just be careful not to size up too much.

These are so much more sleek and flattering, with better support, than the more unisex Blundstones. My feet are long and narrow, and my ankles and shins are very thin, so when I read reviews in which women complained that they were hard to get on and tight in the ankle, I knew that they would work well for me. And they do. Absolutely no problem putting them on or taking them off. My Euro size is always 39, and that's what I got in these -- which equates to size 9 in this style. I found them to be way too roomy but I inserted a thick Dr. Scholl's foam insole, with a leather orthotic insole on top of that -- and then put them on with a pair of thick socks, and they're perfect, even on first wear. Arrived very promptly - thank you Hollands. Lovely pair of boots purchased for a holiday in the Scottish Highlands as a good all-round boot to pack alongside traditional walking boots (my husband is Tasmanian and wouldn’t be without his!). I take a size 8 and found the boots fitted comfortably and true to size. Only slight problem I had was I have a very high instep which meant that initially they did feel tight - they soon softened, however, and are now absolutely fine. Not the fault of the boots at all.Would highly recommend for comfort, durability and style.

I bought a half size larger than what I normally wear. I am usually a size 6 or 6.5. That's a 3.5. That was too tight. The 4 fit perfectly. Easy on and off and very comfortable. I do have narrow feet. They fit snug around but not tight. Even went hiking in them. You can do casual or dress up .
I love these for 10 or more hours a day! I’m an active teacher and I have a second job, so I can be on my feet from when I wake to bedtime. 15-18 hours. Footwear is extremely important to me. My blundstones get me through the day. I love this more feminine style since I wear size ten. In these I wear 7.5 Australian, but in the non-gender-specific styles I wear 7. I own these in two colors.
Definitely recommend buying at least 1/2 size up. And don't give up on these after first wear. There may be a short break in period, but worth it. Great durability you expect from Blundstone, but the heal gives it a little more refined look. Super happy with purchase.

I no longer got leg pain or blisters. The shoes didn't fall apart after a month -- they were even waterproof! I read all the reviews about these being hard to get on and I still purchased them anyway. I had a minor issue getting them on and agree that they are snug around the ankles. You definitely need to use the back pulls/tabs to get them over your heel. I wore them with a thicker sock and it felt nice and cushioned in the shoe. With that being said, I think it’s only fair to reference that I have lean feet and thin ankles (sounds ridiculous but you need context…). I think if you have thicker or fuller ankles and/or feet these will absolutely be a challenge to get on. Love this boot. Quality materials and workmanship. Classic style. It’s a beautiful and functional boot, exactly what I hoped for. As many reviewers noted, however, it cannot be worn out of the box comfortably and needs to be broken-in. I wear a size 6 ½ and ordered a 7.
