Ordered the Brown but received the Black. Then learned that they wanted me to pay to return the item though its their mistake. Unless I had their store card. That was the bad part that dropped this from a 5 star experience to a 3. As for the product, it is great a 5 star by itself in my opinion. Good quality and comfotable. I have not had a pair of boots in a while because the cheap ones are uncomfortable and the good ones are usually too expensive. But these were on sale so it hit the sweet spot for value. The reviews said to take a size smaller with these. Im usually a 9.5 and ordered a 9. That worked well for me especially with thicker boot socks. I live in Birkenstock and have a pair of chelsea style Birkenstock boots from years ago that just recently fell apart. They do not have anything like it available. I need a wide toe box. So I looked at reviews and tried these boots. I wear a size 40 or 9-9 1/2. I ordered the 6.5 and was worried they would be too small and that a 7 would be too big. I am SO happy with the 6.5. I can wiggle my toes and they fit great with socks on. Yes, they are tough right now to get on and off but I see that getting better over time. They are very sturdy construction and just really cute. Perfect for future traveling. Yeah!

The most important thing about ordering is the size chart. I normally wear a women’s size 8 and had to order a size 5. My new Voltan Black boots are a perfect fit. These are great if you need a wide toe box. Very comfortable with no break in needed. The openings where your feet enter the boot are a bit narrow at first but will eventually stretch. I have a small ankle and it took some patience to get them on the first time. When ordering also consider the type of socks you’ll be wearing. I wear mine with thick wool socks. Absolutely love these boots!
