Absolutely LOVE my Blundstone's!! I wore them all Winter long, and into the Spring, while I was living in Eastern Europe (when the snow wasn't several inches deep - though, you definitely could wear them through snow and I did). They were amazing. Such awesome, quality material, very comfortable, and so durable (I literally wore them for months straight, every day)! Love the style for fashion and function. I also really like the color (the rustic brown hid any scrapes until I had the chance to rub the boot clean again). I wore them through water puddles (though they are not waterproof) but I didn't have any issues. You'll need thicker socks for cold temperatures because they aren't made to be super warm. Normally, I am a true size 7 in women's shoes. I ordered a size 7 in the rustic black color, and when they arrived, I was surprised that my toes were smashed into the end. I walked around in them for a bit in my home, and eventually concluded that I should order a half size up.What I didn't know is that the half sizes in Blundstone's lineup are their wide sizes. So the 7.5 is the same length as the 7, but has a wider fit. I ended up ordering an 8, which fits my toes perfectly with the comfort liners inserted into it to make the boot more snug.I haven't broken them in yet or really worn them asides from the initial try on, so I can't really speak to the break in process or longevity of the boots.

I spent MONTHS looking at reviews for these and agonized over whether or not I actually needed these shoes. Once they came, not sure they've ever left my feet (kidding, sort of). These shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box and only get more comfortable the longer you wear them. I usually wear a U.S. size 7.5 and got the size 5 (UK) in the Rustic Brown boots. I bought these to wear for work and hiking. But I'd say they're better for walking around town and have great traction, but the ankle area is not supportive/sturdy enough for hiking. They definitely needed to be broken in - the back of the boots pressed into my leg right below my calves when I first started wearing them. It hurt so bad for a good week, but I toughed it out and then for a month I wore them every single day and they were perfect. But a couple of weeks ago a deep crease formed only on the right boot, right above my heel (Achilles tendon area). It's so incredibly painful to walk in the right boot now. Blundstone wouldn't replace the one boot as they deemed it normal and I can't return them for a refund because I wore them. Unfortunately Blundstone's product isn't sturdy or worth the hype.
6 months and many miles later…The best all-around boots I've ever owned! I've worn them practically every day - no exaggeration. It does take about two weeks to break in, but they're only getting better with age. These boots are a solid investment. They’re a do-it-all type of shoe. Different styles fit slightly differently, I do have another pair of bloodstones that fit a bit more snug, so I had to size up a half size, but these fit true to size (I bought an 8).
Just received these beauties & they are so comfortable right out of the box! For reference I'm a true women's 6US and based on previous reviews I ordered a half size larger for extra room to wear thick socks in the fall/winter. The only recommendation I have is to wear boot/crew socks/skinny jeans initially as the shaft of the boot rubs a little uncomfortably across the bottom calf while walking. I'm sure they will soften after more use.I ordered the rustic brown color and I can say that it is true to color based on the images on the Backcountry site. For those of you who are petite the shaft of the boot hits about an inch above the ankle.Overall, super pleased & can't wait to wear them season after season!
Blundstones are the best, most comfortable boots I have ever used. No hassle with laces, just slip on and go! I am a florist and I wear my boots (literally) every single day while foraging in the forest, standing all day designing in the studio, and during grueling installations on ladders for hours on end. After a long day on the job, I can change outfits and wear them out to a fancy dinner. So versatile. They have never given me any problems, and with a little TLC, they're still in amazing condition.
I put a new pair of insoles and the Blundstones fit perfect on my narrow slim feet! I have worn the boot every day since I purchased them. Rain, snow, fog, sun, ice. All the weather that Vermont can send, these boots have been prefect to keep my feet dry, supported, and comfortable.
This color is versatile and unique! It compliments all colors and style of clothing. Fit wise - this style needs some breaking in, its snug at the start but the more wear the better is customizes to the foot. Im an US 8.5 and ordered a 9 and the fit is just right. Strongly suggest sizing up a half a size. The sole is thick and durable and the traction is good for most terrain and weather except ice or snow. I wear these shoes all the time and for all occasions. Stand on my feet at work and these are a backsaver and help me last through the day. I dont wear anything else- once you go blundstones, you never go back.
I have had two pairs of blundstones now, they are awesome boots, that are super cute and functional, but completely kill your feet. Definitely size a whole size up. I have tried half sizing but the shoe only gets wider and I still have huge blisters and painful feet at the end of the day. Going to see if going a whole size up helps but otherwise may have to try another boot out.
