I have dryer skin and this formula suited me even though it’s geared towards oily to normal skin types. Very smooth when applying for a medium coverage foundation. I was gifted this product by Bobbi Brown in exchange for my honest review. The Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation from Bobbi Brown is a lightweight foundation with a beautiful matte finish. This foundation visibility minimizes pores and strengthens the skin barrier over time. This foundation gives beautiful, natural coverage. The shade Porcelain was a perfect match for my fair skin with neutral undertones. It easily covered my redness and didn't settle into my pores like many foundations do. It did take a couple of layers to get full coverage, but, even with more than one layer, it did not look at all cakey. This will definitely be a new favorite in my makeup routine.

This does not irritate my skin, wears well in humidity for 10 hour plus, and allows my skin to look like the best skin it can be. Please don’t discontinue this unicorn of a foundation!!! Layers well with spf 50 sunscreen (mine is Chanel) and just does wonders under bronzer and blush. This is the unicorn of light weight moisturizing skin finish foundations. The foundation is for light to medium coverage depending on how you layer it. I love that it can really embrace your skin with light coverage and add a glowy effect without being greasy. You can also wear this for an event if you tack on primer, a good concealer and finishing powder. This is honestly such an amazing product that can be used in place of a bb cream when applied with a wet sponge or built up for a medium coverage glam look. In my experience it lasts 10hrs + when applied with a primer and has never irritated my skin.
Overall, I really really like this foundation. It honestly does look like skin when applied to a moisturised base and it looks like you aren't wearing foundation. Blends into the skin seamlessly. Even though it has SPF it doesn't have flashback in flash photography. A beautiful foundation if you are wanting a natural look. Will make your skin look like your skin but better. Downside: It is absolutely not long wearing at all. Will absolutely not last a long night of clubbing/partying/dancing/sweating. It starts to slide off and look oily over time. If you have oily skin STAY AWAY from this foundation, this is definitely more suited for those with dry skin.
This is a great every day no-fuss foundation that I've worn for many years. It evens my skin out without the weight due to the thin texture of it; I get light to medium coverage without the weight of a thick foundation. Depending on how it's applied, I think it's buildable but that's not how I wear it. I find it to be long lasting for the typical day. I choose lighter shades with a cooler undertone in all brands, and cool sand 2.5 works for me; when first pumped out it looks a little dark but once applied to the skin it blends in due to the thin consistency. There is no scent or strong fragrance. I have highly dry, sensitive skin and it does not cause any issues for me.
Fell in love with this after trying a sample. Ordered a full bottle and loved the natural, fresh look. But after several uses I broke out in a rash that returns when I use the makeup, and slowly subsides if I take a week off. So disappointed. Dermatologist confirmed the foundation was the culprit. Wish Bobbi Brown would leave out the harsh ingredients/irritants! I know now others have had this same issue. If you have skin that is even moderately sensitive, I recommend steering clear. Fingers crossed they'll produce gentler products soon because I love everything else about the makeup line--other than the fact that I can't wear it!
I cannot believe this foundation doesn't get more attention. It's glowy and can go from light to medium coverage. Even with this texture, it wears well throughout the day and I'm always surprised how good my makeup looks after hours and a whole day. It's the ONLY foundation I've worn and had people tell me how good my skin, not my makeup, looks. It is super runny, so I apply it with my hands and then even it out with a damp sponge. I love it and I dread the day I can't get it anymore.

BB discontinued my fav hydrating liquid foundation a few years ago and so after trying other liquids without great success - I am even sensitive to SPF - I had switched to BB Foundation Stick but I prefer the convenience of a liquid. After trying the BB long wear liquid foundation with poor outcome (it was too drying for my skin and made it feel 'itchy'), I gave this a try. It is the best fit for me of the current BB foundation options. If you have yellow undertones and are searching for a natural looking foundation with light to medium coverage, Bobbi Brown Skin foundation is for you!! I have tried dozens of brands and always come back to BB. The shade match and finish are literal perfection. I have combination/oily skin and do get a bit shiny by the end of the day but that is to be expected. I typically apply with a makeup brush for lighter coverage but am able to achieve medium to (my version of) full coverage when using a beauty blender. 10/10 recommend!
