Bodum Eileen Coffee Maker - 8 Cup, 1L, 34 oz (11195-16)

Beautiful but fragile, we have replace so many Bodum french press of glass. This last a little longer, like 8 months. Finally we replace the french press with one of double wall stainless steel that we have since 2015 ( according amazon orden records). And we still using it right now, brand Francois et Mimi, 34 0z, sadly not available right now at amazon.

Best Coffee Press

Such a quality product! We upgraded from a coffee mate press which worked just fine but wasn't big enough to make two cups of coffee. It's only been in use for a week or so. Less residue in the bottom of our coffee cups, the top seals well alleviating leaking when pouring coffee, and the best part is the press keeps the grounds at bay.- The Bodum sticker is placed between the sleeve and the glass, but I don't see how to remove the sleeve. I wish the sticker was on the inside so I can remove it.

Cannot tell it's reduced caffeine!

As I was assembling my first delivery, I based two of my choices on flavour descriptions. This Iddillyum not only lives up to the flavour description, as it seems all Illys' iperEspresso products do, the lower level of caffeine is imperceptible. I've had friends, family, and my fiancee (who has been an Illy customer for over 2 years), try this iperEspresso; they were all impressed with the flavour and in disbelief of the reduced caffeine level

Delicious and less caffeine

I love coffee. I love the smell and I love the taste. I love the ritual of drinking coffee in the morning. When my health required me to steer clear of higher caffeinated beverages, I went searching for an alternative. After some research, I found Idillyum, which I understood to have less caffeine than black tea. It's delicious and I can drink it in the morning without feeling rattly. And, I've served Idillyum after dinner to guests and it doesn't have the residual caffeine affect that other coffees seem to have. Idillyum is delicious. It's rich and deep and the chocolate tones are divine. My only regret is that it's not available in bean form. Exactly as described on the tin: light/subtle

I bought this canister as part of a "buy x cans, get 1 free" promotion. I thought since I was buying so many, I might as well take a chance on the internet-only Idillyum. I am very pleased. The flavor, mouth feel, look, and aroma is exactly as you would guess based on the description on the tin. "Naturally low caffeine content" and "rich taste and smooth consistency" are accurate. I use this coffee to prepare either my second espresso in a single coffee moment, so that I'm not tweaking out on caffeine, or as my first drink of the day if I need something milder than the Illy original pods.The 4 out of 5 stars are simply to denote that the flavor and consistency are not as good as the original pods, but Idillyum is good in it's own way. I found that many of my colleges that I share coffee with, but who are not coffee experts per se, will request Idillyum over the original pod. The original pod is perhaps too intense for younger or newer espresso drinkers.The original Illy pod, prepared as a shot from an Iperespresso machine, is still my favorite, and still makes perhaps the most consistently excellent espresso I've ever had.BUT, get Idillyum for the less-intense people in your life, or as a lower caffeine addition to your original pods.

Good taste, lousy capsules

I have likes the taste of the Idillyum espresso, particularly as a compliment/option to a darker roast. But the capsules are an absolute disaster! I had purchased a cast of Idillyum and each can had 4 to six capsules that wouldn't pierce correctly or would somehow burst/leak during the extraction process, creating quite a mess in/on the machine. I have two Illy Iperespresso machines [one at home, one at work] and my experience was the same with both machines. I would have hoped that for the cost Illy charges for their products, quality control would be a bit higher! 20-25% of capsules leaking/bursting in a machine or not able to be pierced open on the first try is disappointing to say the least. Italy in my kitchen

I recently spent a few months in Italy and experienced Illy cafes daily. I feel in love. Then while visiting Chicago, I found an Illy! It was so delicious. Then I found another Illy in Las Vegas. The Chicago and Vegas Illy Cafe displayed the espresso machines. I thought they were for sale. I asked, they said no just displays. After I returned home Inwent to Illy website to purchase and found the coffee and makers! This makes delicious espresso and cappuccinos possible in your own kitchen. I’m hooked. And it’s so easy to use. You need this in your life if you love delicious cappuccinos and espressos.

Love it!!!

Love my new French press. It’s sleek, attractive, and makes the best coffee. The glass cylinder pulls out for an easy wash but secure enough so it won’t slip out when pouring. It states it makes 8 cups, however, those are European measurements; it actually makes 4 cups (32 oz). I tested it against my Hamilton one serve coffee maker and there is a huge difference in taste. You can actually see the oils from the coffee beans in your cup, whereas the other methods, the oil is removed. If I could have a do over, I wouldn’t have wasted my money on any other coffee maker because the French press makes amazing coffee, takes up less space, it doesn’t add waste to the environment with any filters or k-cups, and it’s cheaper than any coffee machine.

Love the flavor

I have been receiving a monthly supply of Idillyum capsules for more than one year. This is my favorite coffee from the ones offered by Illy. It provides a great combination of flavor and relatively low caffeine content. I noticed that it becomes short in supply sometimes, and so it does not arrive with the regularity expected. But overall I like the monthly subscription model and the iperespresso capsules. I have tried other systems and find Illy the one with best flavor.
