I bought my first pair for my husband to slip on and walk the dog on cold, snowy mornings in New England. After I borrowed them a few mornings, I bought a pair for myself. They are so comfortable and my feet stay warm! I’ve worn them for hours standing in snow and slush in single digit temps and my feet stay dry and toasty. I bought my next pair for my son and and preaching about these boots to all my friends. They’re easy to slip on and off, no laces to unfreeze before you can take them off. The tread is steady and grippy. I can’t say enough great things about these boots.

The most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. I’ve used/worn other gum boots but these Bogs Bozeman are such an improved style & model I can’t imagine going backwards, ever again. Comfort; walking, running & climbing in the wet & the dry. Your socks don’t fall down or get twisted around inside the boot. Could not recommend these boots more!

These boots seem to be very good quality. I was surprised at how comfortable they were as they are tall kind of heavy boots. I have worn a size 10 for many years but as of late that size in most shoes is a little tight. These size 10s were if anything a little loose but comfy. I wore them for the first time today on a 3 mile walk through muddy woods and they did not shafe or rub. They are in fact a little bouncy and put a bit of spring in my step. So far so good!

I purchased these as a gift for my husband who has damaged knees, hips and back. He needed footwear that he could easily slide on and off without putting strain on these areas. He also needed a warm, sturdy boot for our Maine winters. These boots checked all the boxes. I bought them thinking he would just use them to throw on to take the dogs out or wear when we have snow but they quickly became his go-to footwear regardless of the task or weather.
Bogs makes the finest boots, hands down. Easy on/off, waterproof, and weather ready. I've owned Bogs for many years. I recently purchased a new pair of Bozeman Tall boots. I love the seamless shell which should provide years and years of waterproof use. The handles on either side provide for ease of getting in the boot. There is a small ledge at the back of the boot which you can step on with your opposite foot to make removing the boot a breeze. I use my Bogs for snow shoveling, taking the dogs for walks in some pretty muddy areas, and for trudging though slush and shallow water. They are perfect for this. I do have two complaints about my new Bozeman boots, however. I do have two complaints about my new Bozeman boots, however. The first is that there is a set of pads at the heal (inside the boot) which are not overly comfortable. The second is that these pads push my ankles forward in the boot, causing a very uncomfortable pressure point on the front side of the boot where the front of my ankle/foot contact the boot. My prior pair of Bogs did not have this pad which is causing all the pressure points on my ankles. Overall a good boot though.
Replaced an old pair of LL Bean slip-on duck boots with a pair of Bogs Bozeman Talls. Easy slip-on and perfect fit. Matches my running shoe size perfectly with room for heavy socks. Unexpectedly comfortable and warm interior footbed. We're in Iowa near the Minnesota border. Lots of sub-zero weather. And so far? Paired with heavy wool boot socks, there's no need for additional insulation. Though Bogs offers a winter insulated version, the Bozeman Tall Yulex. I'm out in the cold multiple times a day to walk our high-energy Brittany dog. Standing on cold concrete or frozen lake, my feet stay warm and comfortable. The easy, on-off is appreciated, as is the comfortable contoured footbed for walking. The wide footprint provides confident traction. On icy days I add a set of large slip-on Redwing Yaktrak ice grippers to my size 11 Bozeman boots. The built-in loop handles are useful. I honestly can't imagine a better pair of waterproof winter/wet weather boots. I'm a first-time buyer and very impressed. Fully justified the premium for Bogs. An unequivocal 5-stars.
So, originally I gave these a 5 star review. They took me some time to get used them, but once I did, I was hooked. Blisters at first, happiness once that initial phase passed. My 13 year old, on the other hand, was hooked from the word go. He loves them. He donned them happily every snowy or rainy day we had. They are warm, comfortable, and reliable. But there is a problem. The soles wore out after one single season. Despite how chunky the sole is in the heel area, my teen was able to go through it in one winter. I had been hoping that we could get a couple years out of them, because they are high quality in other ways, and expensive. So, I am definitely disappointed. I will confess that I will buy him another pair next winter, however, because they worked really ... MoreSo, originally I gave these a 5 star review. I will confess that I will buy him another pair next winter, however, because they worked really well for him, although it will break my heart a little to do so. Because of the price and the fact that they are very not durable, I can only rate them 3 stars.
I've had these boots for 2 winters now. I wear them nearly every day for farm chores during the cold months. They are the most comfortable winter boots I've ever worn by a long shot. They are not very tall but that doesn't bother me as I usually put my coveralls over top. They are very warm and grip well in most winter conditions. A bit slippery on Ice but what boots aren't? Just now there are starting to crack where the neoprene meets the rubber at the front but I feel they have lasted very well for how much they get used.
I picked up a pair of these boots during a season of field work as I began to frequently encounter some... 'very hydric' soil conditions. I'm sure these boots saved my feet from some extent of trench foot as we were out in the field for 12-14 hours a day hiking through bogs and wetlands. No issue getting across high standing water as these are completely waterproof to the lower rim of the boot handles. Don't expect too much flexibility for your ankle areas. It's a fair trade-off.Handles are convenient for quickly grabbing the boots or to lace rope around & onto your sack. Sometimes this meant I couldn't walk across water at this depth, though to be fair, around this height I would look for other equipment solutions. Especially if it is a frequent requirement.I ... MoreI picked up a pair of these boots during a season of field work as I began to frequently encounter some... 'very hydric' soil conditions. Especially if it is a frequent requirement.I normally wear size 8 to 9 and the size 8 of these boots fit snug with a pair of wool socks. Certainly warm in the summer but to no fault of the boots. They are hard to take off, but I found that I could step onto the heel of one boot to loosen that foot out, do the same for the other foot, and then take both off easily.
I've had many winter boots but none as good as Bogs Bozeman. The slip in slip off makes them convenient carry gear or kids. Waterproof is great for warm snow but the insulation can't be beat for days under 10 degrees. I literally wear these from dec-March but this winter it's Nov-April. I've even taken them elk hunting in thigh high snow when my winter hunting boots were too thin to keep the cold out for a full day in the woods.
