The only reason I bought these bogs boots was for the rating in the cold which was -60 degree C (or -72 F). My feet always get cold during winter no matter the type of boots I purchased in the past. At least not for me. I'll keep wearing them in the winter as long it is not too cold outside and for not a great length of time. I leave in Canada and often during the month of January the temperature will go down to -35 C. I will certainly freeze in them at that temperature. It is not the winter boots I thought it would have been.

Bogs makes the finest boots, hands down. Easy on/off, waterproof, and weather ready. I've owned Bogs for many years. I recently purchased a new pair of Bozeman Tall boots. I love the seamless shell which should provide years and years of waterproof use. The handles on either side provide for ease of getting in the boot. There is a small ledge at the back of the boot which you can step on with your opposite foot to make removing the boot a breeze. I use my Bogs for snow shoveling, taking the dogs for walks in some pretty muddy areas, and for trudging though slush and shallow water. They are perfect for this. I do have two complaints about my new Bozeman boots, however. The second is that these pads push my ankles forward in the boot, causing a very uncomfortable pressure point on the front side of the boot where the front of my ankle/foot contact the boot. My prior pair of Bogs did not have this pad which is causing all the pressure points on my ankles. Overall a good boot though.

I bought bogs because a coworker recommended them as a great shoe for all wet related activities. Thus far I've taken them on a swampy hike, I've ridden my bike in the rain wearing them and have wear them walking on a couple inches of snow, and no complains whatsoever. Strongly built, making me feel comfortable in all situations not afraid of sludge or muskeg anymore. Just what I wanted so I am very happy.
