As a long time fan of Bombay Saphire London Gin - I was intrigued to try their latest limited edition - Saphire Sunset. Beautiful bottle - love the colours. It still has all the smoothness of the London Gin with a strength boost at 43% giving it a nice little kick. The slightly bitter orange taste is warmed by the mix of cardamom & turmeric to give it an almost Middle Eastern hint of flavour. Beautiful neat, perfect with tonic and endless cocktail combinations. Definitely a limited edition to stock up on and and something a little different for your Christmas offerings.

This was the first time I had ever tried the special edition Bombay sapphire sunset. I was really impressed with everything about it. It comes in a really stylish bottle which looks great. On pouring I noticed it had a beautiful aroma of fruit and spices. I added tonic to the Bombay sapphire sunset, it tasted really light and had a really nice taste of mandarin and spices. It reminded me of being on holiday abroad and I will definitely be trying this again.

A great smooth easy drinking gin, with a good hint of botanicals, I enjoyed it served with a squeeze of orange, plenty of ice and an orange wheel slice garnish as suggested on the Bombay website, which made a very refreshing drink. Would be a great summer refreshing drink, I’ll look forward to trying it throughout the year! Like the label, subtle but definitely brings sunsets to mind and makes it a very appealing bottle.
I absolutely love gin, more so with all the new flavours that are coming out. With Winter arriving, I wanted to try and keep a bit of summer with me, hence picking this gin.To me, I find the bottle quite appealing, as blue is my favourite colour, but the orange brings back memories of summer.I always mix my gin with lemonade. It is stronger that normal gin, in my opinion, but in a good way. It has hints of Orange and Juniper, which remind me of summer, and good times. A nice refreshing hit for a Friday evening.
Absolutely love this gin! It taste delicious and refreshing. You can really taste the orange. I had this with plain tonic and a slice of lemon and orange to bring out the flavours. The bottle is really attractive and solid. The gin was a massive hit with friends and will definately drinking some more.
This Special Edition of Bombay Sapphire Gin comes in a lovely blue coloured heavy glass bottle making it an ideal gift or one for show in a drink display cabinet. I did think the drink would be blue too but it is a clear colour. This is definitely an aromatic gin, with spicy and citrus notes. Trying it on its own it tastes really quite strong it also has quite a strong fragrance too. I would definitely describe it as a dry gin bursting with plenty of flavour. Personally I really enjoyed drinking it mixed with fresh lemonade in a glass of ice and a slice of lemon... it is rather addictive! I highly recommend gin fans to give this Bombay Sunset a go!
Bombay sapphire is a wonderful smooth gin and the flavour of the the Sunset spiced orange is just lovely! As expected smooth with a lovely selection of botanicals and a satisfying aftertaste.Perfectly for the holiday season, gifting or for ones self…:definitely one for Christmas Day!Love it! Highly recommended!
I love Gin, and enjoy most of the flavoured ones. Bombay Sapphire has been a treat in the past when duty free featured in my life! This new flavour has some lovely flavours that are subtle but ther and compliment each other perfectly. Enjoyed this with a premium tonic and it was a very enjoyable drink. The orange undertones are there but not overpowering.
As an avid gin drinker the Bombay brand is one that is well known to me. I haven’t been as keen on flavoured gins but this one has a excellent subtle flavour that adds to the overall drinking experience. It has a warming undertone which is very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.
