Bond No 9 New York Nights Eau De Parfum 50ml

The opening, frankly, is underwhelming. I was worried. Then it dries into this incredible mix of caramel and banana bread with a healthy sprinkle of white floral and a finish that's a whiff of the sea. And it is beautiful! So well balanced. Labeled as unisex but is sweet enough to lean more feminine to me. Sillage is moderate but quite long-lasting. On me, a solid 8-9 hours on the skin-long enough to carry you from the office through a date night. Some say this is best saved for evening; I disagree. Day or night and in any season, spray her! So far, my fave from Bond No. 9.

When I first started getting into fragrances, I kept hearing about Bond No. 9 and New York Nights in particular. I bought a decant of it first to test it out and I found it to be so yummy! It gives me carmel with some floral notes. There is also just a bit of smokiness which somehow makes it unisex yet more sultry feminine leaning. It lasts for hours and has excellent projection. You will receive compliments on this stunning fragrance! Had to get a full bottle and I will buy again when I run out of this one.

I drink coffee everyday and let me tell you, all I can think of is an Iced Caramel Coffee. But it’s a very nice caramel scent, it’s very charming. Definitely more lenient towards the feminine side but anybody can still rock this scent. A nice fresh gourmand scent all around, to me, this fragrance is very linear. Projection is good and I get about 5 hours longevity until it becomes a skin scent. To make a more detailed comparison as to how New York Nights smells, imagine Clouds by Ariana Grande but a caramel version of it. That’s what it reminds me of. 8/10, I would recommend, safe blind buy for those who love gourmand fragrances!

A lot of people seem to like this fragrance. I have mixed feelings about it. It really reminds me of Christmas. Which is why I have a hard time enjoying this fragrance when I spray it on myself. However, sprayed this on my curtains and I loved it. I will say that when I sprayed it on myself, this was the best performing fragrance I have used. I love the smell of the fragrance from the cap, but once it is applied to my skin, it just doesn’t smell good to me. 

I purchased two Bond No. 9 fragrances at the same time, New York Nights and Greenwich Village. New York Nights is complex and intriguing. In my opinion, it leans slightly masculine (although I am a woman and love it). It is definitely not overly sweet like I was expecting from its “gourmand” characterization of many reviews. It is a mix of floral, woody, earthy and semi-sweet gourmand and I have never smelled anything that comes close to it. I think you could for sure wear this year round, but it strikes me as more of a night time scent. I want to give it a 5 star review, but I’m just not there with it yet. It is exceptional, but not perfect only because it smells more masculine to me. Will continue to wear and edit my review if my opinion changes.

A Sexy Scent!

I decided to buy Brand New when I received a sample of the OG Scent! It was so beautiful! It smells EXACTLY the same (in my opinion). It projects a little more than the Original and I get those same caramel and coffee notes that stand out when I wear it. I haven’t put a dent in my body oil yet, but I am waiting for cooler weather so I can get the FULL experience! It is a date night scent and I think it would be just what I need blowing in the fall breeze!

Bond 9 New York Nights

I ordered a sample from this website today. Although the label on the sample bottle says New York Nights, I’m not sure I received the correct fragrance in the sample bottle. The fragrance smells nothing as everyone has described when I spray it on a piece of paper or when I spray it on my skin. Either they sent me the wrong fragrance or they gave me a sample of an expired New York Nights. It smells like Grease. This fragrance smells nothing like Banana or anything of the liking. If anything it smells like hair grease or nail polish. I am extremely disappointed. Not only did I waste money, but now I have to take a trip to Saks to attempt to test this fragrance and give it another smell before I purchase it. My first Bond N.9 frag!

Great fragrance, it does come off like banana Runt candies a bit. But I love it and my wife digs it too! Only kinda downside is that the longevity isn’t so great at about 3-4 hours max before it completely disappears from your skin and clothes. I had a decant a year or so ago and I feel like that lasted a bit longer so maybe this has been reformulated? But def. recommend checking this one out if you’re into gourmand-ish scents.

Nostalgic

I first discovered the fragrance company, Bond No.9 in a subscription magazine. That is where I stubbled upon, Bond no.9 New York Nights. I had a true feeling to go and experience it. Though Bond No.9 is a unisex EDP it leans towards the feminine side of fragrance. The scent sends you down a nostalgic river of sentimental and lovely memories. The heart notes of Gardenia, Carnation and, Jasmine blend together to make a wholesome blend. You’ll be caught off guard by the perfume later on in the day, or coming days. The scent reiterates, is unique and ongoing to its name and nature. Might you say something so elegant and sentiment? The true meaning of Bond no.9 New York Nights.
