Second time in 2wks of purchasing the Bondi Sands Self-Tanning Mist in DARK. I always heard great things about this company and the natural color it delivers. I am very knowledgeable with outdoor/indoor tanning and a novice with self tanners as I am in my early 30’s I am trying to be more responsible with my sun exposure. I will they this spray tan delivers great color, the solution is green which is a great indicator that the final color result will NOT BE ORANGE but deliver a nice olive color result. Another ++ is it doesn’t smell like complete crap does drive relatively faster than other tanners as well as not leaving me feeling as though I am going to stick to everything my body touches. When I repurchased the self tanning mist (which is on sale @ Walgreens for $7.99 right now!!!) I also snatched the last bottle of the Bondi Sands self tanning foam in DARK as well. I usually prefer self tanning foams even those they’re more of a pain to apply. I will definitely review the foam version as well.

This tanning mist is too dark for my pale skin. I did not realise until it was too late. I applied in the shower cubicle to avoid spraying tanning mist around my bathroom. Another option for a application location is outside, in the fresh air. The mist spray is in a can and it is easy to apply and a novice, like me can apply easily. With this mist it is easy to see the spots you have missed. My husband and kids agree it is too dark for me, I will gift the can to a friend. Bondi Mist is a great brand, I will try a lighter tan option.

AMAZING

I’ve used so many fake tan brands and this the best one I’ve ever usedSo easy to apply, ever by spraying to the skin directly and then using mitt or straight onto mitt and rubbing into skin, they both work great. I tan just before bed and I can literally lay in bed after 2 minutes as it dries so quick! I put a good amount on and never had any tan transfer to bed sheetsIt’s not got that sticky wet feeling get with other tansIt’s such a natural looking no orange tones, it’s unreal!You won’t be disappointed

Best tan I’ve ever used!!

I have been using this tan for 3 years now. The application of the tan is really easy it goes onto the skin lovely and even. I suffer with really dry skin and eczema. I’ve tried every tan under the sun and I always struggled to find one that doesn’t cling to my dry areas. This tan is perfect for me as it sits on top of my skin and doesn’t stick to my patches of eczema. The colour is amazing! It’s a green under-toned tan and the first time i used this I was scared but wow when it showers off it leaves an amazing golden bronze tan. It’s far from orange which is what I’ve always struggled with with tans. Also the wear off is amazing and fades really naturally. I love this self tanner, and the price! Are used to use loving tan 2 hr express dark. I wasn’t happy with the way it was fading and the price.. I decided to use the Bondi sands ultra dark, I leave it on for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. I rinse in shower till water just starts running clear. I pat my skin dry. Then I apply Cera Ve body lotion mixed with Bondi sands coconut lotion. I wake up the next morning a beautiful brownish tan color. Zero orange. I do wear a robe after it dries for the 2 1/2 hours cause the guide will come off wherever u sit. It always washes out my sheets. Really no smell next day. If I sweat, very tiny self tanner smell. Application is easy. My tan last 4 days , it starts fade lightly, and evenly. I like to b dark all the time so I repeat again. I think ... MoreI love this self tanner, and the price! Bondi Sands is my #1 self-tanner for home! This is the first time I've used their mist / spray, and it looks and feels even better than expected.It takes my fair, light skin and transforms it into a deep, glowing, bronzed tone that looks like I spent the week on the beach!Application is a breeze. I spray on my skin directly, then smooth it out with a tanning mitt. It lasts 3 to 4 days.

Mist???

I don't know if I would consider this a 'mist'. The can I received, when sprayed, came out heavily and unevenly with globs plastering on my skin. I had test sprayed this before trying to apply and thought it would even out as I went along. It didn't and sprayed like a fire hose the whole application. I had to use a mitt to spread the product out. Possibly my can was defective, but I won't buy the 'mist' again.However, even with the faulty 'mist', the color was nice, light scent and dried fast, but I think I'll just stick with the foam from now on.

Not great

I used to use St Tropez but it’s getting harder to find their mist versions and I’m not a fan of mousses so I tried this Bondi mist. Apart from staining all your bathroom, it also leaves way more patches than St Tropez. I think the plastic piece is not great, it doesn’t come out uniform even you always add the same pressure in the button. I used to apply the exact same way and get a uniform golden colour but when changing to Bondi I’m now full of patches and uneven brown/beige colour. Unfortunately I won’t be buying Bondi again.

I bought this because I wanted to mimic my spray tans. I thought having the spray would make it easier to distribute the color and possibly easier to cover hard to reach places. I do think for some parts of the body this is much easier but found it just as difficult if not more for the back and nooks and crannies. The color is great though! The undertone is very natural with just the right touch of red to make it look sunkissed. I got a lot of compliments. Oh, it also gets EVERYWHERE. I did it in my shower to minimize the spray. I would recommend this as an addition to your normal routine for feet, and hands and for quick touch-ups. worst fake tan

i’m actually so disappointed with this tan. i buy bondi sands foam normally and i use it weekly. however, i decided to try this one and it’s so bad. the spray is extremely hard to use and it sprays very un even, it smells so toxic, it’s all over my walls and floor in the bathroom, some parts spray really dark than others. you can’t even rub it in with the mitt it just comes straight off again. this is truly awful. i just wasted an hour doing this just to take it all off!
