This is the product ive been looking for for ages now and finally they have something like this!! I know they have tons of color correcting body tanners but I've NEVER seen one made specifically for the face and now I've finally found one!! First off let me just say this serum feels so luxurious and soaks right in leaving NO residue, No weird smell and it completely blurs my skin making it look flawless. On top of all of that it gives me the most perfect color ive ever gotten from a face tanner and that's because it's actually tailored to my skin undertones so it NEVER looks orange!! Never broke me out and actually made my skin look BETTER over time!! I will literally use this for the rest of my life please never ever discontinue this perfect serum!!

The scent just lingered on my skin and I had to just slather myself in lotion and perfume until it made me physically sick because I could not deal with the smell. I know self tanner smell doesn't bother a lot of people, and I wish I was like that, but it really is bothersome to me and I'm very sensitive to it. And I do think maybe I just have the type of skin that the self tanner smell really sticks to because that's always been a problem with me for every self tanner I've ever used. Because of the fact I had to shower so many times to get the product off, I can't really speak to the longevity because my tan did fade pretty fast from having to shower three times in a span of 2 days including taking a bath in order to get the smell out. After all of that, it didn't completely go away, but it definitely did fade.

I decided to take the color match quiz to see what product would be best for my complexion and desired results-and was matched with Emerald. I also purchased the application mitt and was not disappointed. The mitt is black, easy to clean, and the material is very soft on the skin. It made applying the tanning foam very, very easy. The foam does stain the skin for ease of distribution of the product-the results are a nice color to start with. I made sure to allow it to dry thoroughly before putting on clothes. Hours later I had a wonderful, natural looking olive tone with no streaks and no darker deposits of color on ankles, knees, and elbows (I would typically put on petroleum jelly or a thick moisturizer on those areas just to be safe). I really wish I did not have to write this review but I think its important to warn others: it does not work. I love the technocolor emerald body tan, but this face serum simply, does nothing. I bought two because there was a sale and i regret it because this does NOTHING. I have photos below, to show slightly different lighting i guess, the before is the one on the left. I am so saddened to see this not do its job. I tried it a few times before then, I was thinking maybe because i have product, maybe i didn't wait enough, etc, so i tried it again (in the photos) no product for 12 hours before, left it on for 12 hours +, and still i dont see even a bit of a change. I got this as someone not super confident in her skills with tanner so my face could match my body without the high risk high reward situation of putting body tanner on my face and I was not impressed. I have the emerald color (recommended by the quiz on bondi sands's website) of both the face and body versions of this product and while the body one works as anticipated this face serum stuff is not it. I have given it multiple chances and followed instructions exactly and it somehow comes out blotchy but also with no overall change in the color of my face? Super nice looking natural tan! I would recommend a few steps to make it to what you want it to be:-> If you want to leave it on overnight for it to be stronger, I would suggest adding a second layer with only half of what you put in the first layer. So for example, if you put 6 pumps for one leg, only put three more on the second layer. I dont know why but this is the best way and Ive seen it other ways too!-> the directioins say to not put lotion on, which is true but I recommend doing so in your ankles, knees and hands. I also notice doing so in your whole body does make a difference in how it looks, not as strong of a color but easier to applyLove this and the vairty I can use it in

This product is easy to use and spreads easily. I wore it overnight and the next morning had a nice tint to my skin. It wasn’t streaky and did not break me out. I did notice a strong fake tan smell during the night but after cleansing in the morning that disappeared. I have very dry skin and felt this product did not hydrate my skin enough. I think it would be more suitable for normal and oily skin gals. I prefer the “Pure Self Tanning Sleep Mask”, as I found it results in a deeper colour overnight and I wake up with super hydrated and glowing skin. Is also does not have the strong fake tan scent of the Technicolor Serum.
I really liked this product! first off, you should probably go 1 shade darker than you think to actually see a result. that said, there is no unpleasant smell, it goes on easy and doesn't feel tacky or gross to sleep in, does not stain pillow, and did not cause breakouts! I've been using for a week and a half, and my skin texture feels smoother. this isn't going to give you the darkest beach day face tan, but it's a nice color "maintenance" product or for if you only want a nice subtle glow. I hope they continue to make this serum. for reference, the bondi website suggested I get the emerald shade, I went with magenta and am satisfied with that. I'm a neutral/cool toned medium skim, tans easily but my face refuses to tan like my body. this serum helps even me out.
