Almost as good as the old style Lycra Cottontails

Cottontails with Lycra had been my faves for many years but while I still got some for my mum, I stopped buying them for myself because the material & the shape changed dramatically a few years ago. Having seen some better reviews recently, I tried again and while they aren't as good as they used to be, they're back in my number 1 spot again. Thankfully, Bonds listened to complaints about the new oddly shaped waist (which was still too small even going up a size) so that problem is fixed and the waist is natural again. Although women with short bodies might find them a bit high, they're perfect for my 180cm height. Sadly, the material remains thinner than the old style and the snug compression feel isn't what it used to be BUT it's still there to a degree and that ... MoreCottontails with Lycra had been my faves for many years but while I still got some for my mum, I stopped buying them for myself because the material & the shape changed dramatically a few years ago. Having just bought them, I don't know how long the material will stay good. I suspect they won't last as long as the old style Bonds Cottontails with Lycra did but the quality might just be better than the disastrous new material of a few years ago that frayed and split after a short while. Fingers crossed - I do love them, anyway.

What can I say - they are THE classic Cottontails, in quality, cut, comfort & cotton construction. I bought Bonds Classic Cottontails for my 93yr old Mum who has been wearing Cottontails (& only Cottontails) for the entire 6 decades I've know her (& probably before that too!) As children, Classic Cottontails, were the underwear Mum chose for her young daughters as well.Bonds Classic Cottontails have proven to be the underwear of choice over a lifetime, to one very loyal customer - my Mother!

They are the most comfortable pants I've had for a long time, especially for night time and the need to wear a pad. As you've probably guessed I'm in my 80's and It's a stage I'm going through! They are also nice and firm which makes the old body feel much better. The satin touch will be great for the hot weather. Thank you Bonds.

Cottontail Full Brief
3 October 2024

I have been purchasing this item for many years and have always been happy with them. They are extremely comfortable and long wearing. Only complaint is that Woolworths and Big W don’t stock all sizes and colours, but now I can buy directly from Bonds and get exactly what I.

Cottontails have always been a totally soft, comfy brief. Especially great for Winter. Always liked the original cotton material, so hope the new one stays in shape & wears as well as the old one. So far so good.

Giant undies

These are like giant undies!!! Huge coverage, but quite tight around the legs, not really proportionate in my opinion. I’ve not had this style before, don’t imagine I will buy them again. Size 12, but they come right up sticking out of my jeans

PURCHASE OF SIZE 24 COTTONTAIL BRIEFS
29 October 2023

Firstly, I have bought and worn Bonds Cottontails for most of my adult life. I am 72. Since I last purchased Bonds Cottontail briefs (when they had a size TAG on the left side seam) I note that the Size 24 is significantly smaller than it used to be. I still have several new pairs of the briefs with the size tag as mentioned in sizes 20, 22 and 24. The current size 24 Cottontail briefs (with the brand and size STAMPED on the rear of the briefs) are more consistent with Size 20. For some insane reason Bonds obviously DO NOT think that plus size women, requiring larger briefs than Size 24, need ALL COTTON briefs. If, for instance, I wanted Size 26 I would have to buy a brief made with a mixture of lycra and cotton. The very last thing I need in the tropics is a brief ... MoreFirstly, I have bought and worn Bonds Cottontails for most of my adult life. I am 72. There are probably cheaper brands of cotton briefs available, but Bonds Cottontails have always been a quality product.

Poor quality. Fabric has changed
8 April 2024

I don’t know what has happened to my favourite undies. Wore them once & they started to unfairly down the side seams. Little strands of Lycra poking out & fabric has thinned out.

Terrible Underpants
21 October 2023

If I could give no stars I would. I purchased these from woolworths on sale, a 2 pack for $17, so not super cheap, really wanted to try my first bonds undies to see what the fuss is about. Really not impressed, these are not comfortable they are tight in their size and the quality of fabric is very poor. I am beyond disappointed

OK - I'm replacing the 20 year old Bonds Cottontails.size 22. and enough cotton in them so I could dye them to make my cottontails individual...I used to go away for week long workshops - and needed undies that would be easy to find on the washing line - - -.. I have lost 10 kg - So I thought size 20 should be Ok. I am disappointed about the Lycra content of the new Cottontails - not fussed with synthetics. PLUS I think the sizing has been skimped over the years - these new ones are not as big as I would have expected - across the crutch. So why did I buy them??? I have difficulty going into shopping centres - and being amongst a lot of traffic - on line looked good. -
