I noticed the stitching on the waistband has changed since I last purchased full brief cottontails in 2021. There is not as much give in the waistband and there is a definite point where the waistband stops stretching which may not be great for those with a bit of tummy. I found the size 14 pants to be a bit tighter than they previously were because of this change. I compared the stretch with the previous pairs I bought and they are definitely sewn differently around the waistband. I was a little disappointed that the waistband feels tighter.

Happy with how they fit. Ideally I wish the waist band was thick and firm like on another bonds pair that don't seem to be made anymore, but these are comfy and I like that they don't ride up. Good for everyday. I do get a hip dip in these more so due to where the leg sits, but that's only visible in some clothes so I have different underwear for that. Overall fit well and are my everyday go to.

Dear BondsI have always bought your products and would love to continue buying your Women's foundation garments, however, they don’t seem relevant to my style of mature age woman.I am 62 and need to see the how products fit on ageing models. Such is life that we develop flabby bits here and there, we drop a little and fill out a little (and sometimes, more than a little). Our ageing bodies represent a reality challenge that, perhaps, is unpalatable to the current advertising culture. Overseas, however, is a different story and we older women are finding that our life changes are beginning to be seen as endearing and someone has begun taking the time to care for us and show us reality models to help our online buying. So, I must now turn my buying power in that ... MoreDear BondsI have always bought your products and would love to continue buying your Women's foundation garments, however, they don’t seem relevant to my style of mature age woman.I am 62 and need to see the how products fit on ageing models. I have brought every size 20 Cottontail Full Brief when Myer have had them in stock. I was able to find them in Harris Scarfe and now they only stock up to size 18 in them. Why can't Bonds make more of these type of underwear for people who don't fit the young trendy minimal clothing fashion of today? I must say the quality has been below average on the last few pairs I managed to find, they have all come apart from the top 'Bonds' sewn elastic and some pairs are not a size 20, more like a size 16. I understand that quality is in every business but Bonds could spend a bit more on this area because their quality has gone downhill in recent times.
"These Bonds cotton rich Full Brief is an update of our famous Cottontails. With a lower leg line this brief has a high waistline for more coverage" stated on Bond's webpage. These are not a full brief - as picture clearly shows - they are below the belly button. Can't be called a Full Brief unless they're a full brief to the waist. Waste of money. Totally uncomfortable to wear
I can't seem to find nice cotton high waisted underwear that doesn't leave a bad pantyline. These run stupid small, were too tight in the waist due to the stitching itself not having stretch and I ended up tearing holes in the waistband. I am a 14 in other bonds underwear so I upaized to an 18 to be safe and they fit ok in the rest of the underwear but the stitching was ridiculous and dug in. I won't buy these again.
I have been buying this underwear for a number of years but this time, the product appears to have changed. Both the fabric and the fit is different and inferior to the previous items I have purchased. I would say the same of the sports socks I also purchased. They too are of an inferior fabric and fit. I think Bonds should let customers know when they have changed a product. I will not be buying again.
Very comfortable. Perfect height to avoid the post baby tummy bulge when wearing skirts and dresses. Unfortunately I’ve found the bonds fabric of women’s undies getting thinner over the last couple of years which is really disappointing. Bonds used to be the epitome of quality australian underwear. You always got what you paid for. Now I wait for the sale because the thickness of fabric is not the same.
I’ve worn this style for years. Over time Bonds have reduced the quality of the fabric they use, it’s thinner and more prone to holes and wear. They are still very comfy and last long enough for me to still be a loyal customer. I do miss the thicker, more durable, longer lasting fabric though.
I have been wearing this underwear for more then. 10 years and have unfortunately decided to switch to a different brand due to the change in quality. The underwear have already started to wear with seams s doing resulting in a hole in the band. The garment rolls and I am forever pulling them up back to wear they should sit. They feel much thinner than they used to be and are obviously a cheaper make. Would love to see if others have same experience
