I have purchased 4 pairs of Bonds Trunks each year since 2013. I previously had 32 pairs and rotate them every 32 days. The recent puchase revealed a dramatic change in material and far from being the most comfortable underwear I have ever used they have become unwearable due to the 100% synthetic fibres used and the body heat retention resulting from that they are intolerable.
Microfibre is a revelation in underwear. So comfortable and doesn't lose its shape like the flimsy luxe cotton trunks of the past.The only drawback to this product is the overtly printed brand on the waistband. The old version of these microfibre trunks were all black, and provided a more subtle look, especially on the waistband. Brand name advertising on products is understandable, but I would rather not have it on the waistband of my underwear that might happen to be visible if I bend over or if my shirt gets lifted up. Please bring back the all black option without the white brand accents.
These are the best to buy for premium fabric, comfort, long lasting, chaff free underwear ive ever had. Ive been buying these for over ten years now, and i wouldnt suggest anything else.
Lovely cut, the branding on the waist band is bright and sporty, feels premium. The microfibre is very breathable and feels cool on the skin, perfect for workouts etc. It does though feel a bit “cheap” and rubbery-ish, very different from the bamboo microfibre collection. If you’re looking for something really breathable and sporty then this is for you.
If you are looking for underwear that are comfortable, supportive and great for sport then look no further. The sizing runs a little smaller than normal but much of an issue and my order was missing a couple pairs (was refunded in the end). at the end of the day, these briefs are the best bonds has and I will definitely be buying more soon.
I'm a 32 Medium. In this instance for a bit of extra room I bought a large. Even that was way too small in the crutch. No room for comfort. I used to love this product and have other pairs from years back that were great - but this one was no good. I kept the one pair I tried on and sent the other 4 pairs back.
