Ok had used Borner for 20 years when I passed on my stainless steel model to my family & tried out another brand which had a slicing level that was very fine to very large as a feature. Was easy to set up but very clunky to use. Admitted my mistake & have purchased the stainless steel model again which includes the storage box which is essential. Spend the $$ & buy this model

Sensational.Super sharp blades easy slicing and dicing.This is absolutely a must have in the kitchen.This is my second borner eventually blades dull and so a up grade is required.Always a treat as things get upgraded with aesthetics and form.

Borner V6 Stainless Steel V Slicer

First mandolin I have used. But found in very easy to use. Cut's very well, I can slice more consistently and finely than I can with a knife. Has made making salads very easy, great time saver. I also bought a cut resistant glove for the peace of mind, for the blades a scary sharp. I'm happy with my purchase.

Borner Is the original V-Slicer. My original went to heaven after 20 years of use. between missing pieces and slowly breaking down after a hard life of use. My new is performing greatly, cutting down prep time in slicing etc, especially luv the handle and veggie guard so, as you don't injure yourself. If this slicer performs and holds up like my previous one I'll be very happy indeed.

Great product

This is my 3rd V6 Stainless Steel V slicer. Our slicer is used commercially and I haven't hesitated to purchase another as they wear. Not a cheap product but worth every penny.

I would buy another in a heart beat

OK does the job very fast I am impressed in speed and how easy it is to clean. Things I'd get with it though lvl 5 cut proof gloves so you don't slip and cut yourself if you desire to cut angled cucumber slices, and when pulling out different cutting utensil from case their slippery when you get wet or covered in fruit/veg juices. But as a chef it has really helped in the kitchen thank you.

Being black & stainless steel makes it look very sleek & fancy. It also doesn't "stain" with vegetable juice. Cuts hard & soft vegetables quite easily.

I have previously owned a Borner V slicer which still works but being cream coloured plastic it has become very discoloured from cutting vegetables. The new stainless steel Borner V slicer has been used quite a few times now & there isn't any staining.

Very good item - easy to use

A good product and easy to use. Seems good quality and its nice to have the holder for it for the kitchen bench. Works very easily and quickly. The only thing we_re still getting used to is how to grip hard items with the holder (e.g. carrots) and not have it fall off.
