As I already have 18v battery powered Bosch tools, it made sense to stick with the brand. I was not disappointed. Having struggled with a cheap jigsaw, the Bosch jigsaw was a revalation. It is quiet, smooth in operation and the blade follows the precise line you wish to follow, whether a curve or a straight line. My first task was to cut square holes in 18mm ply lining in a narrowboat. This it completed with ease. Similarly, it produced excellent results cutting thin ply for decorative shelving. My only criticism was that there was no option to purchase a carrying case, but as I have an old one I was able to adapt, this was not an issue for me.

Wanted a cordless jigsaw for ages and since getting this one, annoyed that I didn't do it sooner! I love it! Lots of features, guides, light, mitre cuts etc etc. Bear in mind I am very much a beginner diy'er and for me, it does everything I need it too and a bit more. Very pleased with my purchase!

Excellent next day service with competitive price. The Bosch jigsaw is very impressive. Used it to cut MDF and other wood to make a wardrobe. Would probably need to buy additional blades for more challenging materials. Already had the Bosch drill with two batteries so was happy to buy the jigsaw without a battery. Surprised at how powerful it is as a cordless and with good running time. Makes it so much more flexible without cord. Highly recommended.

Like all the Bosch range I have, this is a handy and agile jigsaw. Having several batteries for different tools this, like them can be used in isolated areas without the need for a power supply. The ease of use with the responsive trigger can be utilised for the most delicate or robust assignments. I would most definitely recommend you add it to your collection.
Handles nicely; safety latch takes a bit of getting used to; blade change is easy; very useful pointer as part of base plate makes following a line so much easier; useful blade storage in base plate; 4 position pendulum action switch; haven't used it enough to comment on battery life.
An attractive price if you already have a Bosch 18v battery. It works well and although it doesn't have a laser guide it has plastic 'sights' which gives good results if you take it slowly. Blade storage is useful. Worked well on a laminate flooring job. Hopefully it will last well, I can't comment on longevity as I've only used it for a month but it feels solid without being too heavy.
Works great using batteries from a drill in same 18v range. Love all the accessories that comes with it. The light, variable speed and ability to easily change blades are great.
This works really well and unlike some other Power4All tools I own does not cause battery management problems. But it could have been better, the blade store is a great idea if only it would stay in the saw, it falls out very easily. The extended guide is also a good idea except that most of the time I don't need it and it obscures the blade and very fiddly to take out. Lastly the air to clear the sawdust only works if the transparent blade guard is in place and sawdust accumulates on the inside so you then cannot see the blade. Having said all of that I would still buy one as it saws well and is a great addition to the Power4All range.
