As a diehard lover of gas cooking, it took me a long time to consider changing to an induction cooktop, but when I did, my natural choice was to go for Bosch (as I have had previous appliances) and the cooktop and quality of the dishes did not disappoint. While a base model, the absolute control over temperature and cooking modes makes it so much easier to control the taste and outcome of a dish. I love the thoughtful features like the ability to display the energy consumption which is really useful to monitor as energy prices go up. The surface is so quick and easy to clean up in a matter of seconds, as opposed to having to de-rack the old gas cooktop. I just love my induction cooktop, it fits easily into my small kitchen area and Bosch appliances never disappoint.

Best purchase I have made in a long time. Applicances Online are amazing, they truly are. So easy to find and compare items. The delivery was within days and installation a day later (mine was a bit complex with removal of gas cooktop and putting in new wiring and cutting the bench a bit - so they whole team came out)They cleaned up and took all the rubbish away and gave me an overview of how to use the new cooktop. I really could not recommend them more highly! I will buy more big ticket items here.

Would not recommend. The difference between induction and ceramic was not explained in store to me. I got home and had the cooktop installed and found none of our pots worked. Rang the store and they couldnt help. I googled it and found you need induction specific pots and had to spend $500 buying a whole new pot set. I would not have bought it if they had told me this. Too late to take it out once you pay an electrician $400 to install. What a dud. And still having issues getting some features to work and the manual doesnt help

This unit replaced an old Kleenmaid induction cooktop that was really powerful but finally gave up. The Bosch is easy to operate and having the two zones on the left being able to be combined is really helpful when using large pans. It's not as powerful as the old cooktop but that's not really an issue. I like the metal protective strip on the sides and the bevelled glass at the front mean less likelihood of chipping or cracking the glass. Although the controls are easy to use they could be made much more visible. Ok when they're in operation because they are illuminated by really hard to see to select in the first place. This is my only gripe. Everything else is top grade
The induction cooktop is sleek and easy to keep clean (way easier than the old gas cooktop). Cooking is easy and quick. Touch display is a bit hard to see for an older person without specs but easy to use. Very different from my previous gas cooktop but just as quick and heat is easily adjusted. Great to be all electric âš¡
Stove was faulty. Left side doesn't work, right side can't cook on lower temperatures.Reached out to AO to book a repair. Advised technician will be in touch. No one ever got in touch.Got in touch with Bosch for repairs instead. Almost two months, and I still don't have a working stove. Absolutely awful customer service from both parties. No more Bosch for me.
If you are considering buying ANY brand or model of induction top you must do homework BEFORE even coming into the store.Open your switchboard and locate the circuit breaker or fuse for the "hot plates/hob/cooktop" (not the "oven").Take a picture of this, or write down the details so you can make informed choices before committing to purchase. To operate this model of Bosch induction cooktop, it needs a separate 32Amp circuit. Our house wiring for the cooktop was only 25Amp as needed by the previous (non-induction) cooktop. The choices given by the installing electrician were1. You CANNOT use the BOOST function on ALL 4 places at the SAME TIME.2. The electrician only took 35 minutes to install the cooktop. The Bosch cooktop works well. Safety features are good - there are indicators to show where the ceramic cooktop may still be hot after turning off and removing the pot. It is simple to wipe off and keep clean. For newbie induction cooktop users, you also need to use the fridge magnet test on the bottom of your pots to select which ones can be used on the induction cooktop if the fridge magnet sticks, it is OK.If it is of interest to you, this cooktop was manufactured in Spain.
Allow me to elaborate, as I spent a fair amount of time researching Induction cooktops prior to purchasing, and found some essential information, which I would like to share here, in the spirit of helping other customers make the right choice.Since we couldn't have gas where we live, my partner, a pastry chef by trade and keen home chef, insisted we swap over to an Induction cooktop. After much research on electrical requirements (do not skip this step!), reading countless reviews and looking into functionality of different induction cooktops, we selected this one. It almost fitted into the hole for our previous cooktop in the granite bench, so only minimal further cutting was required (Messy!!! Cover everything in dropsheets or you will spend hours cleaning everything!).Our electrician upgraded the power supply, laid a new cable to the island bench, and fitted the required isolation switch (within 2m of the appliance, and the switch must be reachable without one having to lean over the cooktop), Then we were set to get it connected.Initially, only my partner was exited for his new friend in the kitchen, whilst I looked at it like a strange monster, but quickly learned how to work it. It is extremely responsive once switched on and to changes in heat settings. The switch panel is along the base of the cooktop, so far enough away from the pots to change settings, even in the middle of cooking without risk of burning your fingers. The Combi section on the left makes it versatile, and we were pleased to discover the top is very easy to clean! (Unlike the glass cooktop in our last home). You will need to make sure your current cookware is suitable for Induction cooking (if a magnet sticks to the base, it is okay to use). Otherwise, you will be in the market for some new cookware, as well as a new cooktop, possibly an electrician and someone to cut your granite benchtop.Super happy to have chosen this Bosch PVS675FB5E 60cm Serie 6. We absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase an Induction cooktop.
Having used a gas cooktop for years, i always thought that it was my preferred cooking method. After purchasing our own home which came equipped with a very slow electric cooktop, we started to look into other options. After much research we decided on the Bosch Induction Cooktop. The first time i used it i was blown away by how seamless the cooking process is with it. It really is an amazing cooktop! What used to take me 40mins with the electric is now only 6-8 mins max with the boost function. It quickly and easily changes between temperatures with no hassle at all. Large pots fit perfectly with the option to use both heating elements for 1 large pot. Not to mention the fact its sleek and stylish look in my kitchen.I rave about it so much to my family and ... MoreHaving used a gas cooktop for years, i always thought that it was my preferred cooking method. We purchased the Bosch PVS675FB5E Induction cooktop as a replacement for our Kleenmaid 16 yr old cooktop. I liked it because it has the ability to be able to place a baking pan on the long section which is great for making gravy. It also has a boost function which is needed because we are used to a much quicker heat up (Kleenmaid). I guess we just have to get used to it being a bit slower and for simmering, there is a need to use a higher setting than we did before. Overall we are pretty happy with our purchase.
