After using a conventional non vented dryer at home for many years, we brought a Bosch series 8 heat pump dryer. What a huge difference in drying and efficiency. No more moisture in the laundry and no more lint to deal with. Very efficient with energy consumption and easy to use too. Self cleaning function works very well too. Can't recommend this product enough.

I got this heat pump tumble dryer after spending months going though product reviews for all comparable brands and models. I've read many reviews about sheets rolling into tight balls in heat pump dryers and that is the case with this model too. Its not set and forget for bed linen as I had to intervene twice, but is for everything else.The timer and sensors seem to be calibrated well and adjust as the clothes get dryer. So far the Auto Clean system works well and cleaning the condensor filter is easy. One direction drying means you constantly have to stop the machine, un-knot sheets as everything gets turned into a ball. Not so with the previous condenser drier but I’m told chasing energy efficiency means they use one motor instead of two : one to turn the drum, one to operate the condenser. Consequently you need not get one way tumble drying. This is a pain but ok for clothes and small items. Wished they put back that second motor . Good example of where chasing star rating energy efficiency results in reducing gains.

I purchased the 9kg washing machine/ heat pump dryer set. The washing machine is great -cleans well, easy to use, economical. The dryer -opposite in all ways -doesn't dry, long cycles with still wet clothes, and no easy way to work through solutions. I've read the manual and emailed support with no feedback. Hugely disappointed with this expensive purchase.
So many times I have thought to myself about how glad we decided to go with our Bosch clothes dryer, especially with young kids and the mountains of washing we do a week. The price was more than other makes/models we were looking at, but it was so worth it! When I saw how much our power usage had dropped since using it I was stoked. Plus the machine does a fantastic job. A bonus that we aren't restricted by having to have it plumbed in, we empty the water and tip it on the garden. Worth every cent!
Our 1st BOSCH appliance - and we are wowed! The washing machine is splendid - super water efficient, very low operating noise, looks fantastic and has excellent features. We have had the best customer service from Winning Appliances Brighton - and feel grateful for the great trust relationship we have developed with the branch and our Senior Sales Expert - Atul. We have gone ahead and bought the Series8 BOSCH Washing Machine; and Series6 Cooktop, Series8 Integrated Dishwasher as well. Very happy customer and look forward to BOSCH for our next purchase for our holiday house in Rye.
To start on a positive- the dryer looks lovely and is economical.But completely agree with comments made here too. It rolls sheets into tight balls (as the dryer only spins one way (why?!) and the sheets are still wet in the middle but as the outside of them feels dry the dryer turns off. Clothes never have that dry feel that I'm use to. I just want to be able to turn it on and walk away. This is the most high maintenance dryer I've ever owned.The instruction manual is useless. Ive been trying to do a basic appliance clean and following the instructions to a t and the programme just does not work so every time I turn on my dryer CrE beeps for 5seconds.
This is our 4th heat pump dryer and the 3rd Bosh one. We use them in our business. However this particular model does not dry clothes. It spends many hours at the task but they always come out damp. None of the set programmes improve the situation and the timed programme works at such a low temperature it takes too long - many hours but the timer has a maximum of 30 minutes. So it needs to be watched and repeated. There's no way to adjust the temperature to improve things. Our other Bosch heat pump dryers are great. It's just this one that's a dud. Will be seeking to return. Best to avoid.

I had no idea I have been destroying my clothes for so long in a conventional tumble dryer. Furthermore, I hate ironing, so I love the gentle drying process with enough moisture, yet still dry to avoid creases and save time ironing.Finally, before I used my dryer sparingly due to energy costs. After my 20 year old basic dryer had died I treated myself to this beauty of a dryer and to say that my laundry days have been revolutionised is an understatement! The dryer not only senses the moisture level of the washing, it is also very gentle on my clothes, offers an amazing array of settings and can communicate with my matching washing machine to adjust the drying to the last used washing machine settings. It os very very energy efficient so I never need to feel guilty to use the dryer and clothes racks all over the house are now a thing of the past a so is a damp laundry! Meanwhile I can control all of this from my mobile phone via an app.
