Bosch GTS 10 XC Professional Table One Size

(1,006 reviews)

If you've got a lot of heavier-duty sawing to do, the Bosch GTS 10 XC provides you with the right tools. It's a very powerful table saw thanks to the power of 2100 watts. The many other functions of the sawing machine make it very suitable for intensive and industrial use. For example, the GTS 10 XC has a motor brake and starting current limitation and the speed (3200RPM on idle) remains constant, even during heavy work. You can use it to saw up to 79 millimeters deep and workpieces with a width of 63 centimeters aren't a problem for the saw table either. The included accessories offer everything you need to saw safely and with care. You can also easily store them directly on the casing.

Great service from Axminster. Bought this and the 60 tooth axcaliber blade. Gives beautiful precise cuts through all timbers including MFC and other laminated timber.Straight out of the box it was all pretty square and true. There are a lot of YouTube videos mentioning various issues with accuracy. The sled has some lateral give in it but this is fixed in a couple of minutes via a quick loosening and tightening of the 5 or 6 screws on one of the two runners. The fence is prone to being off by a millimetre or so from front to back and apparently this is fixable too (although I have not tried yet). Maybe some printed markers at the front and back would allow a means to make a quick visual check of it's parallelness ( new word!!!!!)My main gripe is the size of the ... MoreGreat service from Axminster. I may make a crosscut sled and the runner size is not universal. That said you can buy two of the runners that the angle guide is attached to as spare parts and use these to attach some wood to make a crosscut sled. The two runners cost approx £35 or so.All in all, for the price, it's a great bit of kit which I now wish I bought five years ago. It has opened up so many more possibilities.

Brought the saw back in January and I'm really pleased with it, package arrived in good condition and factory setup was straight forward with little adjustment required.Already have a good vacuum so escaping saw dust is not an issue, cuts long lengths very accurately making life so much easier, especially if you have the Axminster flat roller stands. My only criticism is that it would be nice to have the unit supplied without a blade, then you can choose the most appropriate blade for your requirement.

What I feel is important: Flat top-checked and is dead flat. Sturdy insert that can be levelled with the top-yes and was level no adjustment needed. Fence; solid and secure, square to table top and parallel to mitre slots, not worried about measure as use a tape for accurate set up. Okay on these but there is no auxiliary fence for ripping timber you have to make your own to fit to the main fence. (For ripping timber safely the fence should stop shortly after engaging the saw teeth so that the timber cannot bind against the rising saw teeth as tension is released.) Fully adjustable riving knife with ability to easily lower for rebating etc. Okay on this. Sliding table to be dead flat to table and no lateral movement. Okay on level but slight lateral movement. It is possible to re set hold down screws to bring this to a minimum but there will always be some slught slack. This I find ok as I have for years got used to applying side ways pressure when using a sliding mitre fence. I had a record power ts 250 with a ball bearing mounted sliding fence which had no play but there were so many other issues do to poor quality control that I gave upon it. This saw is made much better. Soft start and good braking without loosening the blade-fine on this. Rise and fall stays vertical (some others wonder so that the high position is is not the same distance from the fence as when lowered). Overload cut off-Yes, this is not a hobby saw for short use periods. Not too noisy-Actually very good for this type of saw. Saw blade parallel with mitre slot and adjustable if necessary-Fine on this . Saw blade spins true no wobble or movement-Okay on this. Other good features: The tilt can be adjusted to stop precisely at 90 and 45 and locked. Blade change is easy and quick. Good on board storage for fences, blades spanner and saw guard. The saw guard when fitted can be tilted back so as to measure from the blade easily. This saw was made in 2018 and does nor suffer the issues that have troubled others. Perhaps Bosch have listened and dealt with the niggles?Verdict: Good saw for the home workshop and trade user.

Good tool which copes well with large sections of hardwood

Overall an excellent tool. The bad.The mitre guide slot is marginally narrower than normal, I have not had the slop problem reported by others with the mitre guide but I am annoyed that I need to get a bar machined to use on other better quality mitre guides.Dust extraction requires requires a splitter that is not provided. Even with the cheap Jet and Axminster table saws these are included. The goodThe blade it comes with is competent for softwood if the finish does not need to be great. However an Axcaliber Premium 40 tooth blade works very well with the saw. I have used this to cross cut and rip oak up to 75 mm and it copes well leaving a very good finish, the saw has enough power to deal with a reasonable feed rate and most of the dust does get caught by the ... MoreOverall an excellent tool. The bad.The mitre guide slot is marginally narrower than normal, I have not had the slop problem reported by others with the mitre guide but I am annoyed that I need to get a bar machined to use on other better quality mitre guides.Dust extraction requires requires a splitter that is not provided. I have used this to cross cut and rip oak up to 75 mm and it copes well leaving a very good finish, the saw has enough power to deal with a reasonable feed rate and most of the dust does get caught by the extraction. The fence is very solid and accurate despite the overall (relative) light weight of the saw.The cut capacity is very generous with the sliding extension being surprisingly solid. The on board nooks and crannies for the fence, guide and blade guard do actually work and keep the parts in place when using the wheeled stand. The sliding table does work though it is of limited size and therefore application. One of the best features is on detaching the blade guard the riving knife can drop so the top is below the top of the blade, with an auxiliary blade guard mounted this means the saw can be used for cutting slots and groves, which is really going to help me with bat box construction. The motor is not that loud and when the saw is used the above mentioned blade it runs without making too much noise overall. All in all an excellent tool that were it to come with an extraction hose splitter and standard T slot would be close to perfect.

I was originally looking to buy the Bosch GTS10J but as it was out of stock I decided on this one and I'm glad I did. No, I am not a trades person and no, I do not use it everyday. The ordering online was straight forward and the delivery was quick, three days. When it arrived the driver even trolleyed it around to my workshop for me. I know the measurements are shown in the description but I was still taken aback by it's size, so I ordered the GTA60W mobile stand for it, a worthwhile investment. Getting it set up was straight forward and it all works very well. Having the rear extension as well the side side extension is of great help. When the motor is stopped the electronic brake brings it to a rapid halt which I also like.Together with the mobile stand I can use it in my workshop or outside for much larger jobs.I have not used it much to date and I am still getting used to all of its features. It maybe a bit pricey, but I am very happy with it and would recommend it.

I bought this a few weeks ago and have used it loads as I'm currently doing alot more work from my home workshop.I've bought this along side the stand and its about a good as if gets before you start spending top dollar. There has been a few updates to this saw since a few of the outdated reviews on YouTube.1. Before you could manually post the knife down or push it up without much effort, but the downside was the dust would get trapped in the banana shape channel it slid in and it had to be taken apart to be cleaned and was super hard to re center and parallel to the blade. Now you pull out the blade insert plate and you have a quick release and can move the knife into two position and its centred with two pins that instantly align it. It's a massive improvement in my eyes.2, the blade protector used to have a wing nut that could sometime get in the way but again this has changed and it's now quick release from the rear so it's out of the way.The guide is pretty decent and with a bit on playing around you can get it very accurate. Out of the box it was acceptable for site ripping and cuts but now I've tightened and made sure its square it now does very accurate cuts. The stand is well worth the money and is very stable and ridged and is at a decent working height plus it folds upright for storage.

Bought this in August and had reasonable use of it in the last month or so.Took time setting it up carefully and using an adjustable square I managed to get the fence and the blade parallel to the tracks (they were actually parallel already) and then set up the blade to make accurate 90* cuts using both the mitre and the fence. Read the manual carefully and it tells you all the adjustments to be made to adjust everything correctly.I built a cross cut sled which makes for good quick 90* cuts and I'll make another for 45* soon. I'll also make a zero clearance insert when I get around to it as these are not widely available unless you pay quite a lot of cash to get one shipped from Germany.Extension table and support are great though havent needed them much just ... MoreBought this in August and had reasonable use of it in the last month or so.Took time setting it up carefully and using an adjustable square I managed to get the fence and the blade parallel to the tracks (they were actually parallel already) and then set up the blade to make accurate 90* cuts using both the mitre and the fence. The stop switch is a little bit too well hidden under the front so I can never find it without looking and there doesn't seem to be many accessories available for the mitre slots that I can find, not that I think i'll need any. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.

Nearly three years old and simply awful

Bought this during lockdown and it worked well at first. However do not be fooled into thinking this is any kind of professional machine with a longevity that will serve you well for years. The whole weight of the motor is resting on a tiny piece of plastic. This piece of plastic bears all the weight when changing the height of the blade. Mine broke and despite being replaced, upon closer inspection it seems that cheap engineering has been used. This has resulted in having to tip the machine on its side to change the blade height.Other issues are that the motor is underpowered and weak and it often struggles with basic rip cuts even with a decent blade. overall a very nice table saw, does spill dust in every direction so needed a few modifications to reduce this.arrived in good condition and factory setup was very good, very little adjustments needed to get the saw in accurate working order.little play in the sliding mechanism that others have reported, not totally free of play but acceptable.biggest downside to this otherwise good table saw is the mitre slots , nearly all of my jigs are 19mm sliders where bosch uses their own awkward sizes. have to modify or throw away a few things.
