Best Induction Cooktop

I recently purchased this 900mm induction cooktop. It is much better than the one it replaced (which was a different brand). I have been using induction for 25 years so I know it well. Overall this is by far the best one I have used. It heats up very quickly. The controls are very easy to use and the special frying function is great. I had installed a Bosch induction cooktop in my previous house but my kitchen was much smaller and could only accomodate a 600mm size. I would recommend installing the larger size if you have the room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment we saw the cooktop we fell in love with its slimline sleek design. We knew that it would be perfect in our kitchen. My previous cooktop was a gas unit that was 22 years old but still a beautiful working cooktop. It was time to modernise our kitchen and this new Bosch induction cooktop did not disappoint. I'm still in awe as to how fast the food heats up and afterwards the clean up is a breeze. The only heat present after the food is cooked is the residual heat transfer between the pot and the glass top. Needless to say we are definitely in love with our new cooktop.

We bought our 90cm Bosch induction cooktop on 27/12/2017. The touch sensors started to fail just before the end of the 2 year warranty. We went from proud to disappointed. As of today 15/12/2020, 6 sensors have failed and the setting for all sensors seem to be the same.Well surprisingly and happily, even though I am outside the warranty period, BOSCH are happy to cover the damage as Warranty.Don't give up! After a testing year this was awesome.Thank you BOSCH.

Great service from AO
6 November 2022

Super efficient service as always. My first induction cooktop purchase and the 2 things that impress are the boost function and the precise control of heat. I used the heat guides in the manual a few times and wasn’t happy with the final product so now I just use the heat settings I used to use on the old ceramic cooker. Crazy that in 20 years they haven’t improved the glass cooktop with regards to cleaning, it’s still a work up to get it gleaming.

Induction 5 zone

This makes life simple. Looks fantastic, black glass with 5 cooking points easily fit cookware for a busy family. It’s quick, sensory dry pan heating for scrambled eggs, frying etc.Can add to bench space when not in use (protect glass). This cooktop has made top cooking a joy.

Love It!

Replaced a ceramic top and discovered this is so much better. Used gas cooking for many years but now I no longer have that option. The new house had a ceramic cooktop which was awfully slow. Thought that an induction cooktop may be closer to gas cooking. Even better! Quick, clean and efficient and as a bonus makes the modern kitchen look great. With a solar powered house this makes the daytime cooking experience even cheaper.Way ahead of a ceramic top and definitely worth spending a little extra.

We changed from gas to Induction when we recently upgraded our kitchen.Anyone who uses gas know how good it is, good temperature control, easy to use.Gas wasn't going to work for us in the new kitchen so we opted for Induction.Honestly I would never go back to anything else. The positives of this particular cooktop are :-Excellent Temperature Control :-The cooktop can keep the desired heat setting automatically so the food never burnsRapid boil:-Putting on a pot of Pasta is easy as. Put cold water in the pot , put the pot on the right size hot plate and press the boost button. Water boils so fast it's amazing.Keep Warm:-If you have cooked dinner but someone's running late , no worries put the pot into "keep warm" setting and the food stays hot but ... MoreWe changed from gas to Induction when we recently upgraded our kitchen.Anyone who uses gas know how good it is, good temperature control, easy to use.Gas wasn't going to work for us in the new kitchen so we opted for Induction.Honestly I would never go back to anything else. The positives of this particular cooktop are :-Excellent Temperature Control :-The cooktop can keep the desired heat setting automatically so the food never burnsRapid boil:-Putting on a pot of Pasta is easy as. Not Happy - Do not buy
25 September 2020

I wish to vent my disappointment in this product! I bought your induction cooktop in July 2017 which was not installed until September 2017 due to renovations. Believing I had spent my money wisely by purchasing a well-known reputable brand and here is is 3 years later and it no longer works. Your customer service process was brilliant organising a repair company to come out who were very good then to be told that the circuit board no longer works costing me another $590.00 on top of the original purchase of $2500.00. I know products don't last for ever these days but really 3 years!!! It’s not like the cooktop is used in a commercial sense it is merely in a home of 2 people used a couple of times a week. I am not happy at all and very frustrated and would advise not to buy this product only because of the default mine had.

Really great cooktop
15 January 2023

Really love this cooktop. Some induction units "pulse" on and off on lower settings, which this one does not with nice even heat. It's very easy to clean, and boost-mode boils a 12L stock pot of water in a minute or two: actually have to be careful not to burn sugar or milk its so fast. The control is easy to use, however it's touch-sensitive which is a problem when your fingers are covered in sauce and you suddenly need to turn something down. I love that i can clean it mid-cooking by just lifting and wiping, and of course like all induction you don't have to worry about your paper draining towels accidentally catching on fire while you're frying.

Upgrade from Cooking on Gas or Electric Cooktops
9 June 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My BOSCH Induction cooktop is a fabulous, efficient way to achieve excellent results with controlled temperatures. I am a profficient cook who needs instant control of the heat for my gourmet sauces, sautés, braises, stews and soups. Browning without burning and a slow simmer are easy to achieve with BOSCH's induction cooking. Clean up is so easy, because there are no more cracks and crevices and heavy hobs to remove. Wish I had made the switch ages ago!
