Just makes the grade, really needs a speed limit dial on the trigger, that is annoying for hammer drilling or big steel. Now that the chucks lost its new bite edge the drill bits sometimes slip easier, that's common for keyless. It is compact so that's handy when working up the ladder. OK for multi-purpose use.

This is supposed to be professional, used very lightly for a couple of years, mainly only when I needed to mix paint, as I have full Makita and Hitachi 18v kits. Gear box packed it in now motor runs but chuck remains stationary. Previous Makita electric did a ton of work before dying, thought I’d try Bosch as it was a little lighter in the hand. Don’t bother with Bosch!

Bought this about six months ago and used for drilling into brickwork and large holesaws into wood, does both jobs well, good build quality and power for the price. Lacking variable speed.
OK for price, i suppose. I used it to drill wood mainly, some metal and some concrete. The hammer-drilling was pretty poor (slow penetration, very high-frequency noise, lots of vibration) compared with professional-level hammer drills i've used previously. The chuck released the bits pretty frequently. This is a single-speed drill, which is annoying. Absolutely fine for drilling timber and pretty good for metal.
Excellent build quality, comfortable and easy to use, typical of Bosch products. Overkill for what I needed, but sick of cheap junk that breaks, so well worth the $. Sturdy carry case, solid and smooth chuck mechanism, and good length on power cord. Would definitely recommend
