Bought this for my son as his older version had broken. He is so pleased with it and is impressed by how much better than his old one it is.

This is something else when it comes to multitools. It blows the last one I had into another dimension. The quality is second to none. If I had the smallest niggle, then it's a bit on the big side, but it would need to be to do what it does!Very impressive piece of kit.

Excellent tool and this model takes full range of Starlock, Starlock Plus and longer Starlock Max accessories and has a powerful 550 watt motor to speed through jobs with ease.

Because it's worth it

Good points; powerful, gets the job done fast. Excellent hands free blade change system, lever to drop, press-click on. Good range of blade shapes/functions available. Feels very robust and reliable. Soft-start promotes confidence. Bad points; can't use all those cheaper no-name blades in the bottom of the toolbox that I stocked up on in the sales before I bought this beast. Only Starlock blades will fit (until someone comes out with an adapter, inventors it's your chance to make a fortune). If you don't want to "buy cheap, buy twice", this is one to choose.

Bosch Multi-cutter GOP 55-36

This seamed to cover all the bases I was interested in like power, quality and price with a good number of different cutters available to do different jobs. I looked around but Axminster seamed to have it available at a good price and their service is always very good.

Does the job excellent

After a thorough research, I found this was the best option.I need to cut nails a fair bit in the wall, that holds my windows. With starlock max the blades are long enough for this task.The sander pads velcro could have been stronger, the sandpaper slides off when I sanded a narrow part of a door frame.But when the whole pad is in contact with the material it works better.This was a great value with 25 accessories, that costs plenty to buy separately

Not in the same price bracket as the Fein but I've always done well with Bosch in the past.The fact that it accepts Fein blades gives a huge range of accessories, adding versatility.Lots of grunt and reassuringly heavy (550w motor).All ready it stays mostly out of it's box, a very useful tool that should have been purchased years ago.

almost certainly the best quality performing multi tool out there, yes it’s not the cheapest but you only get what you pay for, i did have cordless before this and that wasn’t cheap, yes it was slightly more convenient in certain circumstances but this tool is on another level in terms of performance and feel, you want a tool that feels like and will probably last what feels like forever buy it now
