Very easy to install - was able to replace my ear pads and covers in minutes, without any tools.
Removing the old cushions is really easy, just need to pull it off. Then for the fabric piece, I do recommend cleaning off the old glue before adding the new one. Then just click the new cushions on and they look brand new :)My old cushions lasted three years, but definitely could have changed them after 2 years.
It’s great that Bose makes these replacement cushions available. Nobody is perfect and sometimes we screw up and our products get screwed up in the process (guilty here). However like others have said, it would be nice to have the white cushions for the soapstone headphones. I’ve had my 700’s for about 7 months and I’ve made the mistake of wearing black headphones that smeared their color onto the white and I couldn’t get it all off. If I ever damage these more it would be nice to be able to purchase the white cushions, so hopefully y’all can work something out. I’ve loved all of my Bose purchases and love to keep them in pristine condition as long as possible!
I am a serious headphone collector, I love the color of the soapstone headphones,but I limit my use to the headphones in fear of dirting the ear pads,I hope you please listen to me and the other reviewers and make them available.Thank you, long time Bose customer.
I believe bose should provide the white version of these cushion kit, so people who have the soapstone version of bose 700 can replace their cushion easily without looking other places to find the similar product that fits their headphones. Please consider providing white version.
