Clarity is excellent, actually has some bass fill as well. battery life is excellent, at medium volume i havent yet ran I continuously without charging so I cant say how long exactly but I have used it for over 3 hours constantly once and from a full charge, roughly 40 still remained , I charge it whenever i get the chance to keep full and ready. Ill update if and when I am able to run it from full to empty. I can definitely say that I am thoroughly pleased with the battery life this far. Connecting is easy, I havent had any issues connecting to any of our phones, laptops etc as of yet. We really enjoy the sound quality, it actually was a pleasant surprise. Connecting is easy, I havent had any issues connecting to any of our phones, laptops etc as of yet. We really enjoy the sound quality, it actually was a pleasant surprise. I know its a Bose but I still had reasonable expectations as the speaker is so small. It was mainly to have a compact option when we needed or wanted louder than stock speaker sounds. This speaker is way more than just that Its actually a lot clearer and can play at near the loudness vs a lot bigger and more pricey Jongo that we have which before we got this was our best wireless speaker. It was just too big for a lot of situations tho which is why we got this and this one immediately became our favorite Actually this is a second one ordered because we like it so much That way we dont haveto fight over who gets the Bose. There are more inexpensive options in similar size with good reviews but havent really tried others and probably never will as long as these are still kicking. Bought the 4 year warranty so dont have to worry about anything for 4 years. Overall as of now, easy 5 stars. Granted we only used it for a few weeks. If any negatives arise I will update this review. Great sound , volume and bass surpasses expectations for this size Battery life excellent thus far. Talks to you and has led lights to show battery life. Compact and easy to transport and use. Impressive and lives up to the Bose name. Excited to have another on the way. Cool color options to boot Wonder if two can be used at the same time That be even double the ear candy Ill have to look into that. Ok where is it, time to listen to so relaxing music.

The Bose SoundLink Micro is a very pleasant surprise Though we obtained it for the family to use, I plan to get another one just for myself. Honestly, it is QUALITY audio from such a diminutive design that it is hard to resist. Here are some thoughts about our experience with Micro so far.First and foremost the sound I have a very expensive pair of headphones as my primary means of listening to music. When those headphones are not in use, I also have a very nice setup of loudspeakers in a couple of rooms in our home. I am picky about sound quality and I know every nuance of some of my favorite albums which I have listened to for years. When those headphones are not in use, I also have a very nice setup of loudspeakers in a couple of rooms in our home. I am picky about sound quality and I know every nuance of some of my favorite albums which I have listened to for years. Believe it or not, the SoundLink Micro actual competes At much lower volumes, of course, and only when the Micro is placed in close proximity yet, this little speaker puts out very rich and pleasing highquality music. The lows, mids and highs are all there and well represented. The sound is as detailed, dynamic and accurate as a little speaker possibly could put out. When compared to other bluetooth speakers we own, I like the Micro somewhat better more accurate than our Bose SoundLink Mini II. The bass is also tighter on the Micro when compared to the MIni. The Mini has bass that punches deaper but it tends to drown out the highs. The Micro does not have that problem. I also like the Micro much better than our Bose SoundLink Color II. The Color is not nearly as dynamic though it plays louder. The only bluetooth speaker I like better is our Bose SoundLink Revolve which handedly tops the Micro in every area. That is, every area except for ruggedness and portability.Speaking of portability, that is another aspect that makes the SoundLink Micro standout. It fits so perfectly in the hand. There is a nice weight to it that feels right. Also, the silicon outer shell has a quality feel to it. It does not quit feel rubbery in a cheap way. It reminds me more of the fluoroelastomer sports band that came with my wifes smart watch. It just feels right. The back strap has the same quality feel. The strap secures firmly in place and seems durable enough to last for years. Though the speaker is small enough to fit in my pocket, I probably would rather use the strap to attach the speaker to a bag or belt. My son likes to strap it to his trumpet case when he goes to band practice see photo. The speaker is both water proof and shock resistant which just adds to its portability. The small size and rugged take anywhere aspect of the Micro is what really sets it apart from every other speaker we own.Bose claims that the battery will last up to six hours. Honestly, I have not kept track of how long we use the speaker before needing to charge it. I do know that our experience with Bose with our older speakers is that they tend to under promise and over deliver on their battery claims. I fully expect the Micro would last longer than six hours if played near 60 volume which is where I tend to keep it.As to features, the Bose Micro has plenty. The speaker doubles as a speaker phone with a dedicated button to answer phone calls. The same button also multitasks to pauseplay music, skip tracks and summon our devices voice assistant. The Bose Connect App is available to download to tweak the speakers autooff settings and to update the firmware when available. Bose says that the App also serves to link the Micro to other Bose bluetooth speakers. I have not tried this feature yet, but certainly will soon. How awesome to have two speakers playing stereo music on the goThe Bose SoundLink Micro is probably not be for everyone, but for most will be absolutely fantastic. It certainly sounds nice for its size. Actually, it just sounds great period. Great job Bose

Ive been using this speaker for a couple weeks now. Ive used it with an iphone 6 and iphone 8. Out of the box, syncing was extremely straightforward. I did have to charge the device out of the box. Preferably, Id like for items to at least have a minimal charge so you can connect before charging, but its not a major issue. Once the device is paired, it is near instantaneous to connect to your device when you turn it on. It reminds me of the connection integration between apple and beats, which is a major positive considering apple has no affiliation with bose unlike beats.A nice option feature not sure if to credit apple or bose is that you can view the actual charge percentage on your iphone battery section. I appreciate the integration in that you can only gauge your battery so much with a 5 light meter, as is shown on the device.Overall, the sound quality is great. The music does damper a bit with heavy bass, but I dont see this as a negative since it is protecting the speaker. While the sound does damper, it doe not reduce the sound quality delivered.I only have a couple minor cons. The first is that there is no aux input. I understand that aux is slowly being phased out, but I would like to see it continue as an option for bluetooth speakers. Not only do they typically stay in one spot, using aux for friends is much easier than using party mode. The only other issue is that I noticed the sound distorts a bit if you stand the speaker up on a tablecounter with a back as opposed to laying it down. The sound quality diminishes quite a bit when doing this. It almost sounds a bit like the speaker is underwater. If you set the speaker down on a surface you wont experience this issue.Overall, this is a great speaker that I would recommend to anyone. I do think the price could be a bit better the JBL clip 2 is only 60, but you know you are getting a quality product with Bose.

I am so pleased with the sound that this little unit produces Music plays with great clarity and a pleasing balance. It also produces an incredible level of volume for such a compact speaker. I never expect much of a really small speaker, but BOSE have somehow gone way beyond what you would think is possible at this size. The Micro will be perfect for so many situations. Im heading off on holiday soon it will fit into my hand luggage with ease, and provide great music for us at the beach or in the room. Brilliant. Its also perfect for working around the house. This speaker can handle just about any situation.I work in the dance world, and this will be so useful for my work as well. Gone are the days when I have to take a sizeable speaker with me. This little powerhouse will fill a small studio with sound, and will weigh basically nothing in my bag. I love itYou can also take calls whilst listening to music, with just a simple touch of a button. This was really useful recently when I was washing the floor and my hands were wetI can imagine lots of these under Christmas trees everywhere this year. BOSE has given new meaning to the phrase Good things come in small packages. I always expect a lot from BOSE products, and this speaker really delivers.
Ive had one of these speakers for a while. I had the opportunity to try a second to allow me to pair them up and listen to music in stereo. Being wireless you can separate them as much or as little as you like as long as they are within 30 probably a bit more of your smart bluetooth device that is your music source. Initial setup is a bit complicated, but the Bose Connect App easily walks you through it and I had no problems despite being tech challenged at times. So then I wanted to hear how they sounded and how well the stereo separation worked. So I started with what I knew was a good source. The song Barbarian from the first Emerson, Lake Palmer album. Anybody familiar with that album andor song know about the stereo separation. I set them up about 8 from each other and stood back 810. Wow separation was great, sound was great and I was in a good sized Master Bedroom. I did not turn the volume up the whole was as it was getting too loud, but as loud as I turned it up, no distortion. The sound and separation was so good that for anybody other than a fanatic audiophile, this is all the music set up you need to listen to your favorite in a good sized room. Being January in the Chicago area, I havent tested this out outside yet, but from listening to the one speaker outside Im sure this will be adequate for anything other than the largest parties. A smartphone, these two speakers in a decent sized room and you can have entertainment anywhere. I have yet to run down the battery, but its evident it will run for hours and hours. And recharge time is less than two hours. These are going with me anywhere I go and offer compact, yet wonder sound and great stereo separation. Strongly recommend this reasonably priced product
I had been wondering about this particular model, and after having read Reviews about it (Good, and Bad) i decided to go ahead and purchase the Bose Soundlink Revolve+ll I go way back to the Bose 301 Series Direct Reflective Model of which I had (4) setup and installed according to Bose, and they were Awesome! Sound was coming from everywhere in my living room it was incredible! But so much for the Nostalgia back to the Revolve+ll being that I'm not a person whose big on a lot of overpowering bass, but some bass at any rate what I'm saying is the bass that this speaker puts out is fine for me "Notice I Said for Me" 50Hz- 20kHz is nice I can hear the Guitar Player's Strings being played, the drummer's sticks hitting those drum skins, Symbals crisp with a tingle, ... MoreI had been wondering about this particular model, and after having read Reviews about it (Good, and Bad) i decided to go ahead and purchase the Bose Soundlink Revolve+ll I go way back to the Bose 301 Series Direct Reflective Model of which I had (4) setup and installed according to Bose, and they were Awesome! Yeah before I go any further Vocals are Natural be it Jazz Vocals, or R&B Vocals nothing muddy, or nasally. Now as far as R&B the Bose Soundlink Revolve +ll, and Blues Music no problem just Clear Natural Sounding Music, so in closing Bose has gotten a bad rap from those SO Called Audio Critics with over priced Audio Equipment, Bose is not for those type of music lovers Bose is for the Man/Woman that appreciate Clear, and Precise Music Quality so don't listen to all of that "HYPE" from those Critics be your own person! I will say this the Bose Soundlink Revolve +ll isn't for the Bass Aholics, and don't get me wrong here I'm not into that kind of music to each his own or whatever floats your boat! I hope this Review is a help. T-Hawk Out
Yes, it looks like a Coleman propane lantern designed for NASA, and yes it doesn't fit as neatly into your bedside or tabletop as most Bose products do. But the sound? Is surprisingly robust and surrounds the room like a good "shaped music" speaker that doesn't have active "audio shaping" should.I bought it on sale on Christmas Eve after my MicroUSB plug broke inside my Bose SoundLink Color II while I was visiting friends for the holiday, and I couldn't remove it with the tools I had with me. This was a few steps up, more expensive and, as I've said, less easy to fit in in places like my hotel room and luggage, but the sound quality blew me away so utterly that it's my daily driver Bluetooth speaker at home now. After owning a soundlink color 2 for a few years I figured it was time to either replace ot or add an additional speaker to the home, this wasn't my first choice as I purchased a Marley get together mini and disliked it's lack of base, and extremely poor sound quality. When I went back they had this on sale and I figured let's give bose another shot. At full price it's absolutely worth the money, on sale you'd be kidding yourself to not take this home. Easy to use, louder, heaver bass, and easier to blend in than the soundlink 2, plenty loud for apartments/ smaller homes and able to link with others via party mode within the bose connect app. Overall this is a wonderful speaker with great bass and mids with wonderful highs aswell, I've played live, and compressed ... MoreAfter owning a soundlink color 2 for a few years I figured it was time to either replace ot or add an additional speaker to the home, this wasn't my first choice as I purchased a Marley get together mini and disliked it's lack of base, and extremely poor sound quality. The 360 feature of this speaker is a true 360 sound, placed in the middle of a room is it's best location if possible. I have had it on the mantle, in the bedrooms, even outside on the patio and its truly wonderful. If you are an audiophile, but don't have the patience to deal with Sonos this is the one for you! If you're on a budget, while onsale I would recommend over THE MEGABOOM 3, any JBL, or really anything. It's not a sonos, but the minor drop in multi room configurations is worth the investment.
I bought a second speaker specifically for the stereo mode feature. I have two Bose Revolves. One is a Revolve + and the second one is the Revolve + II. The speakers in stand-alone mode are awesome and can’t be beat for pure, rich, booming base quality at loud volumes. But when you pair them, they play for a few minutes then the Bluetooth connection gets flaky. They never disconnect but they start alternating playback on a split second period. For example, when it starts happening, one speaker will get crackly and drop out while the other speaker continues to play. Then a split second later they reverse roles, the other speaker crackles and drops out and the first speaker picks up the audio. This alternating behavior lasts for a good two or three minutes and clears ... MoreI bought a second speaker specifically for the stereo mode feature. I have two Bose Revolves. This alternating behavior lasts for a good two or three minutes and clears up and plays in stereo mode normally again for a few minutes and then the issue starts all over again.I’ve read and performed all the troubleshooting steps in the online instructions. Both are running the same version firmware, I hard booted, soft booted, made sure only one speaker was connect to my phone, placed them close together and eliminated all other sources of Bluetooth.I’m keeping the speaker because, like I said, they are awesome standalone units but I am very, very disappointed in the pairing quality. The star ratings associated with this review directly pertain to the pairing feature. In other words, the sound quality is outstanding in stand-alone mode. But in stereo mode, it is horrible.
I was willing to use it on every day. I bought it and then the smaller one, they sounds similar. The battery of it is much better than the smaller one (smaller one came without handle)Sound is warm. Lacking lower bass yet bass is there and powerful. Very good for audiobook, talk show, radio and music (not heavy bass musics). While playing heavy bass music, I turned the volume to 80% of its capacity, about 70db, it handled well without distortion. However the maximum volume for bass music is not very loud (<80db, i reckon).Portable, I used it in kitchen, in bathroom(it’s waterproof), in bedroom, in my car (it may not sound very good in my car, as it’s much smaller than those big speakers in my car).I put my ear on those holes of this thing, i heard the sound ... MoreI was willing to use it on every day. The quality of party mode is very good, can cover big area. The quality for stereo mode is acceptable, after adjusting volume on individual speakers. I used them for stereo for some times, I noticed that setup cannot give me the immersive listening experience, compare with my car audio. It’s the excellent speaker for its size.
