I bought a Bose headphones at Fnac.be. The re-seller did not want to give me an invoice (pay taxes) I bought them on Fnac.be, the seller is Fnac and they have not been able to give me an invoice (pay taxes) Fnac does not take responsibility for the sales made on Fnac.be There is no difference if you are a professional or not, you will not receive an invoice where the TVA (BTW) appears. PS: inside the sealed box, there are marks from use and handling! They were supposed to be new. At this point, nothing surprises me. Total Disappointment . Never again. When these wireless ear buds were released, I planned to be one of the very first adopters being a BOSE fan, but held off a bit to see how well it performs based on feedback. Then I started seeing negative feedback and reviews, and held off even longer, until now. I cannot get myself to like any of the other options out there for as long as they plug inside the ear canals. I hate the feeling of "suction" or pressure in the ear, the inability to talk normally and sense true loudness of your voice without removing the buds, and just the overall feel of having something inserted in the ears. Whenever I wear in-ear monitors for an hour, even at safe listening levels of maybe between 30%-40%, I feel my ears ringing at the end of a listening session. Makes me believe there is far more risk of long term hearing loss with prolonged use of in-ear (sealed)buds as all the sound pressure is sealed and trapped and just directed to the ear drum. That leaves me with just 2 options: the Apple Air Pods, and/or this Bose Soundsport Free. I have the air pods but feel they're really more for convenience reliability rather than truly enjoying and appreciating music. They barely sit on the ears (good) and there is no seal (which meets my requirement), but then this results to thin nearly lifeless sound. I have almost all of the bose series of ear phones, including the Quiet Comfort 30 and the Soundsport Wireless, so I know this is exactly just the kind of ear buds I need and know I will be comfortable with. I like how it doesn't go all the way into the ear canals, sort of just rests short of the ear canals, and yet still create a seal to a certain extent. It doesn't totally block outside noise which I like, because I'm still able to hear ambient noise or pause music and talk to people. If I want total silence, I have my noise cancelling headphones for those and they're a different story. As I just wanted to use this while listening to music in the office (I hate wires), I went ahead and got these anyway regardless of the negative feedback. These buds suprised me and they meet (even exceeds) my expectations of how they are supposed to feel and sound like. The sound is typical bose nice warm sound that I have grown to love throughout the years, so no surprise there. Even without the perfect seal necessary for most other ear buds for you to hear bass, you certainly hear the bass with the Bose Soundsport Free. It is not overpowering, but blends in well with the overall sound landscape producing warm music that is very pleasing to listen to. I have been using it for 2 weeks now, and maybe just encountered the reported "disconnection of left ear" just once, but even then it was so momentary like 1 second that I didn't really care. If I stay in front of my computer here in the office, I can probably listen to it the entire day without encountering any disconnects - which is really the primary purpose of this ear buds for me. I did try to simulate all possible scenarios to force a disconnection and think managed in one of my attempts, but simply pressing the button on the LEFT earbud re-established connection easily and all was back to normal. You don't have to put them back on the case like some of the other feedback I've read. Maybe it also helps that when I paired the headphones to my phone, it showed that it was manufactured just 2 months ago (March 2019). It didn't even have to be updated as it already had the latest firmware. So I'm not sure if the latest makes are improved over the early ones from last year? It's just that I'm not encountering any disconnection issues as are mostly reported by others, and my experience so far is at 100% positive. I'm paired to an iPhone X, not sure if mileage varies between IOS and Android users. I very easily paired this to my Windows 10 laptop as well, and can listen to good stereo music that way too. Negatives: It doesn't bother me that only the right side is used for calls, I don't make lots of calls and when I do they are not long. And even if they get long, somehow it's still fine with me hearing in just one ear as it's not any different than just using the phone directly. The controls are indeed stiff as noted in other reviews, but it's minor gripe for me. You get used to it easily, plus the fact that I normally adjust tracks and volumes on my apple watch or directly on the phone which is just in front of me (in my particular usage scenario) There is indeed still some noticeable lag when watching videos. So if you watch a lot of videos and intend to use these ear buds, this may not be the right one for you and you would be disappointed. I just need this for music, so I can easily overlook this. Overall, I'm happy with finally just deciding to get this Bose Soundsport Free, it meets my needs and even exceeds some of my expectations on how it's supposed to sound.

Great Overall These headphones are amazing. The sound quality is amazing, the comfort is top-tier, and the noise cancellation is ridiculously good. Pass through works very well too. They have a very nice finish, with a sturdy frame that is quite difficult to scratch or mess up unless you really try to. It has a very futuristic and nice design, but it also makes them very comfortable. I am always amazed with the noise cancellation on these headphones. A friend of mine recently got the Sony WH1000XM5s, and honestly I do think these are better. These have better noise cancelling capabilities and better bass. And I think the overall sound quality between those 2 headsets are comparable and very similar. And I think the overall sound quality between those 2 headsets are comparable and very similar. I think that these are the best all around headphones on the market. The only thing I don’t really like about these are the clenching force. When you first get these headphones, the clenching force is quite tight, but loosens up overtime. I wish they were a little bit more loose around my ears, but I am still able to wear them for hours on end comfortably and it doesn’t bother me. I also find the earcups to be quite small, but my ears still fit well around them. There is a lot more to these headphones, so I would recommend watching a couple YouTube videos for a comprehensive analysis on the specifications on these headphones. Overall: 9/10.
I was given these as a Christmas present. It was an accident that I got these, I wanted the sleepbuds after having the sleepbuds since they came out then were discontinued (until the new improved ones came out). Anyway a miscommunication with my Husband meant I ended up with these they don't disappount. Def not for sleeping but so good. Fit the ear perfectly and are secure no matter what you do. The sound is great they are easy to use. One flaw is the tiny control at the side, it is easy to touch the wrong button to do the opposite of what you want to do. The actual earbuds are alittle large so def no nodding off laying down with these!
The Bose SoundSport Free wireless are, in my opinion, one of the BEST completely wireless headphones that you can pick up right now! Overall, it is obvious that Bose have not digressed from their quality in build, sound and performance.Build and Appearance:Build-wise, the SoundSport Free Wireless are very trustworthy and durable, never feeling worn or fragile no matter how many times they are handled, moved or fiddled around with. The grippy texture around the buttons on the headphones allows for better handling and functionality, allowing you to control your music/calls at any given point. Along with this, although the headphones are slightly on the heavier side, I wouldn't deem this as a negative due to the fact of how rigid they are and obviously being a quality product. My one gripe with this product is the size. Although the weight doesn't irritate me, the bulkiness of the product can sometimes make you look like you're trying to communicate with UFOs. I used these whilst walking and jogging with my dog, whilst driving and also during work (I work with cars so it's nice to have wireless headphones to listen to music while working around intricate parts). I must say, the headphones havent fallen out of my ears once - even after shaking my head reasonably vigorously for 5 seconds just to see if I could potentially have them fly out, but Bose 1 - 0 Me. The size didn't ever get in the way of me doing anything specific, but it is mainly just for appearance that the size can get overwhelming.Ease of Use and Comfort:Setting up the headphones took me near enough 2 minutes after taking them out of the box - a very simple and effortless process. The charging case that the headphones come in is intuitive as well, providing information on the case battery as well as individual headphone battery life. As someone who uses tech on a day to day basis, I figured all of the features out comfortably within 10 minutes of use - even for first time wireless headphones users, this product would be a breeze to get used to. Although some may dislike the size of the charging case, I took into consideration how much extra battery life it provides the headphones with, how secure it keeps the headphones and also, going back to durability, how rigid the product is as a whole. You could easily keep the case in your pocket and it doesn't feel uncomfortable to move around with, however most of the time my case was kept in my jacket at all times - sometimes when I wasn't using the headphones, I would forget they were even there. The comfortability of the headphones themselves is a bit hit or miss. On some days, I could wear the headphones for 3 or 4 hours with no issues, but on other days depending on the acitivities I was doing, they could get quite annoying where I'd take them out for 15 to 20 minutes before using them again. I don't think this is a major flaw as using headphones for prolonged periods of time will never be the most comfortable experience. One thing I did notice however, is the Bose design for the "in-ear" part of the headphone was extremely comfortable as it doesn't feel like its being shoved down your ear like a scene out of Saw, unlike a lot of other brands headphones. The discomfort for me mainly came from the wing tip, however I didn't try the other sizes as for a majority of the time, the medium size was fine to use.Sound Quality:On to my favourite, and the most relevant, section of these headphones. I am EXTREMELY impressed with what Bose have managed to fit in such a small (relatively) footprint. I could not fault the sound at all, even after intentionally playing songs with dramatic drops and variable frequencies. The SoundSport Free Wireless headphones, in my opinion, are the BEST for any bass loving listener, even after taking into account that you wont feel a thump in your ear like you would with overhear headphones, I personally believe you will not find better range in another pair of truly wireless headphones.Generally, I listen to a lot of Hip-Hop, R&B and Bhangra, so the range of sounds that these headphones produce has been tested thoroughly. Although these aren't noise cancelling, you can definitely find the right volume for yourself to drown out the rest of world - sometimes I like hearing ambient noise whilst driving or working so these headphones work as an amazing all-rounder.When listening with both headphones, the experience is truly immersive, almost surround-sound like. I say with both, because you can also listen with only one headphone (I recommend the right headphone as this is where the calls come through - also the volume and play/pause/answer/hang up buttons are on the right headphone). Even with just one headphone, the sound doesn't feel washed or neglected. All in all, this product would recieve 5 stars if they were smaller in size with the same audio quality, but I understand that we would potentially lose out on the bass and range of frequency with a smaller headphone. I am constantly happy to use these headphones and I believe Bose have (almost) perfected the truly wireless headphone.
I couldn’t give it 1 star because the sound was good but I just about hated everything else. First of all I’m not downloading an app for a Bluetooth device. 2nd maybe it’s because my ears are small but the fit with these was awful. The day I got them I knew I would be struggling with them so I took them back 3 days later LOL. For the $150-200 range I should feel comfortable in some headphones. The design should be down pact because I think we know how comfortable headphones should fit in 2022. They always felt like they would slip out of my ears and because I had to do the most to keep them in they would connect and disconnect my music bc I was too busy adjusting them. I mean I want noise canceling when I’m listening to music I don’t wanna hear my own awful voice.
I had purchased this product just before covid 2020. I mostly use it during my gym work out. So as the gyms were shut i barely got to use these, maybe overall used it just for a year till now (Nov 2022). I have maintained these in pristine condition. No scratches or water issues whatsoever. However since past 3 months they have been acting very poor. 1) when on a call, the opposite person can hear very loud background noise. There is nothing that i can do about this because there is no way that i can control the mic volume from my end. 2) when i press the '+' sign on the earbud to increase volume, instead the assistant opens up 3) in 25 min of usage the battery is about to drain out. 4) when i double tap the centre button on the earbud, instead of skipping the song ... MoreI had purchased this product just before covid 2020. However, now since few months they have been giving me so much trouble so i asked the customer service to replace them, but all they say we can offer you 20% buyback discount for any new bose earphones you purchase. This is a pathetic offer. I am not stupid again spend to spend so much money and have this kind of quality and service. I expected much more from a brand like Bose. I have been a loyal fan but not any more. Would not recommend anybody to buy this.
Upon first purchasing these, I was extremely happy. The sound quality is great, they’re comfortable, and overall were a really nice pair of headphones to run in. They aren’t entirely sound cancelling, so I still had a bit of situational awareness without them being truly transparent. However, I am currently now on my third pair after having to exchange them using the warranty. The first pair, severe connectivity issues. Frustrating, constantly dropping Bluetooth and needing to forget them before re-adding them every time. The second time, the power button seemingly got stuck, making is so if you turn them off, they turn themselves on again seconds later. On top of that, connectivity issues. I just got my third pair (again, off warranty, thankfully) and I’m ... MoreUpon first purchasing these, I was extremely happy. The sound quality is what you’d expect from Bose, but unless you want to constantly replace your multi-hundred dollar headphones, do NOT buy these.
I was so excited to get these. The positives are that the sound quality is fantastic, as you would expect from Bose, and they do stay in your ear well during workouts/runs. But from the very first week I had them, the left side goes out ALL THE TIME. It's unusual to get through a single song without the left ear cutting in out out at least once. Its so annoying and disrupts the flow of what you're listening to. On top of that, shortly after having them, they don't charge in the case unless the case is plugged in. The case charges fully but they do not charge the headphones unless they are plugged in. So, if you're looking to listen to an audiobook on a road trip, you can only listen to one full charge at a time. Such a disappointment for a company I used to hold in ... MoreI was so excited to get these. I'll never buy a Bose product again.
