Got it hooked up in my boat with only 1 speaker because that's all I had room for and it's pretty loud. I've got it wet multiple times washing down my boat and no problems. Neat little radio. I do not get good radio signal at all, I tried connecting an external antenna and still get no signal unless I hold it about 3 feet above and out of my boat. Bluetooth works great.

Installed in my Polaris Ranger in just a few hours. Need the proper tools and additional hardware to make the job go smoothly. Hole saw, connectors, crimper, etc. Makes riding dirt roads that much more fun. No negative issues have arisen yet. We enjoy the Bluetooth function and the speakers, although small, pack a big sound. It comes with an antenna which I didn't realize and I bought one in addition to this unit. The provided antenna performs fine and I will return the other when it finally arrives.

I am very happy with the quality of the audio system! I bought mine to install in my side by side so that I could have some music while I'm out plowing snow and it works great for that. The sound isn't super awesome, it's kind of "tinny" without much base, but part of that may be because I just have the speakers zip tied to the roll cage when really they should be mounted in a box. I intend to get some different speakers eventually. Also, I'm sure that an amplifier would help quite a bit. Overall, I'm happy with the quality of the unit and how quickly it connects to bluetooth. I would recommend you get an amp to go with it.

I have to agree with the other reviews about the unit getting warm, but it has not affected it in any way so far. I wanted a compact unit without a useless CD player and this was the perfect stereo for my needs. I use this unit quite often and listen to FM radio, songs from a USB stick and use the audio to play sound from the RV television. I am sure the speakers could be upgraded and get even better sound, but these are fine for me. I wish it had a remote control. Not really a complaint, but it would be a nice feature.

I found it to be easy to install, just need a 3" hole saw for the head unit, a jig saw for the speakers and some electrical connectors. The sound is decent for an inexpensive stereo. Actually, I didn't expect it to sound as nice as it does. But I still ordered a pair of baffles just to make it a little better. Those will come in soon so will be interesting to see if there is much difference. I had no problem playing music from multiple sources. My favorite radio station comes in loud and clear. I've played music from my USB drive and the Bluetooth connection from my phone. All worked great. As far as longevity goes....time will tell. I have been looking for a compact set up that has great sound. My old set up, was a CD receiver in a protected case with a secondary mini amp. The day this was delivered, I was all set up and ready to go. Sound is clear and crisp. Volume is loud and able to be heard while I am under way. Would definitely suggest purchasing it.
I bought this and another pair of Boss 6.5's as a cheap marine grade stereo for my UTV. I am happy with my purchase! Loud enough to enjoy music over running engine and others music once tuned with the eq. Not going to win any stereo competitions but for less than $150 it blows away the alternative options of a factory radio or aftermarket Bluetooth sound bars that are way over priced. I would purchase again!
We installed this head unit and speakers in our 1987 Samurai. We removed the existing clock, trimmed out the dash hole a bit and pushed in the head unit. Couldn't use the backing plate because it is too tight with the air ducts under the dash. Had to trim out the old speaker holes a bit but not problem installing the new speakers. Sound quality is good for this unit and the size of the speakers. My only complaint are that it can be difficult to pair the BT for the first time and the volume on the unit has to be turned up to 25 or so to hear the sound loud enough while driving when using the BT, even when volume on phone is turn all the way up.
because of the electronics on my boat, there is a lot of hissing and squealing noise while I am fishing. When I have the boat on the trailer and no depth finder's and electronics on the boat are running the radio with the speakers perform well in sound good. The radio should have some sort of shielding to eliminate these interferences.
So far I really like it. Was surprised It is plenty loud for my 18ft center console boat. I put one on each side. Installation was relatively simple and only took a few hours. Bluetooth pairing was easy. I ended up wrapping red ignition and yellow 12v power wires to the same toggle switch and works great. Saved my presets when switch was in off position.
