Boss GT-1000 Guitar Effects Processor

Tried out the helix lt came with midi cord.Boss gt 1000 sitting unused for almost a month didn't come with w a midi cord to connect to computer which apparently is required before you can't connect via Bluetooth.No idea how it compares to the helix will be returning unused.Good job skimping on a midi cord for a $1000.00 product that requires it.You think people might actually want to use the product they just spent $1000.00 onKudos to helix and headrush who did include the cords.

Solid, versatile, multi functional professional piece of kit. After upgrading to the latest firmware I spent the last 5 days working out how everything works - the manuals are a bit threadbare (hence the 4 *) but Roland support was pretty quick and helpful and, if you can overlook the guitarist indulgences, there are a number of user YouTube tutorials to help. I can't vouch for all the sounds/effects as I haven't been through them all yet but there is a plethora of choices/combinations to suit almost everybody's needs. The Boss Tone Studio software also gives you access to quite a few professionally created patches. The only other downsize is the cost which is a bit of a hit for a hobbyist like myself (hence the 4 *).

I am a Boss GT Veteran, started with the GT 10, then the GT 100, now the GT 1000. Absolute stunner of a piece of work The most important is that you can now reprogramme it on the fly via proprietary software for your Phone, Tablet or PC. Android and Mac. Does exactly what I need it to do and sooooooooooooo much more.

Good stuff - I've been waiting for years for Boss to follow up the GT-100, and I held back from the Helix (which was too expensive) and he LT version, and the Headrush, hoping that the GT-1000 would be released, and my patience was rewarded tenfold; you cannot get better than this, it's the best modeller on the market by far. The learning curve is steep but once you're used to it it's fairly straightforward and intuitiveIf you don't need a plethora of real amps modelled, and you need a pro modelling unit, this one is a no-brainer. You never know, they may even add more real world amp models in the future. I hope so but even if they don't, this thing still breasts the competition by a country mile.

Very good multi effects pedal

Good sound quality, very happy with it. But the delivery company didn't do their job properly, heavily drop off the parcel and didn't wait for signature (was required), if you are buying an electronic device, it is a concern.
