Back from having an app-driven amp, I am now experiencing the pleasure of using a pedalboard in which you have a lot of different effects, easy to use knobs in a very intuitive format. Amazing. The only negative aspect is that you have to buy separately the bluetooth unit and the power supply, with an additional cost. But, overall, it is still a great value for the price you pay

Had to return due to faulty loop function. Probably a software issue.. but a big one! and not for me to sort out.. Choice of stock I.R's. not great, but should be able to tweek using E.Q. controls, but E.Q. very lacking. Modulations are great, and drive pedals OK. Volume pedal options are also brilliant.

I have been a Roland GP-8 user since late 80's. I finally decided to go with the Boss ME-90 because I have been happy with Roland / Boss and the ME-90 format is much more like a modern version of the GP-8. Bit of a learning curve; but overall well made / layout and lots of functionality. I also wanted to focus on effects over amp modeling. If amp modeling is your thing; other units may be better. So far after having the unit for 2 weeks; I am pleased with my choice.

I have been using guitar effect pedals since I can remember. I am 65 and could probably have bought a Tesla with all the money I have spent on different effects.I bought the Boss Me 90 3 weeks ago and put it through the paces and it's worth it. I have taken the boss ME 90 with me when I jam with a group of musicians that include a keyboard player and 3horn players. This product is as seamless as my pedal board. It does have a learning curve like everything else but not huge. It is way more convenient than pedal board and well built. I also recommend buying the padded carry bag too. Have fun experimenting with it.
I am enjoying the pedalboard. Sounds are excellent. Many different sounds. My only caveat is that it doesn't have an LCD readout or display. The knobs are quite small and sometimes it is hard to tell exactly which tone is selected. This day in age, it would be great to have a digital readout display to see exactly what preset is selected. The build quality is excellent and very rugged. It should do well on the road. I do think the AC Adapter should be included at this price point, and not an option. BOSS hits another home run with this unit, just not a Grand Slam. I would recommend it. Sweetwater service was once again excellent!!!
Outstanding product! Every Boss pedal you can imagine in one unit at a very low price. Both the other guitarist and myself in our band have purchased the ME-90 and are now working through our sounds for the next gig. I consider this a game changer because i will be working towards not using an amp at gigs which not only speeds set up, reduces the real estate needed for the band but also means we don't have to hump heavy amps around with us. Just need a solution to remove all the cables at gigs! Very very happy with the ME-90 and I'm only just scratching the surface of what it offers!
I like Boss pedals and I've used a ME-50 for many years so I was excited to try the ME-90. The main positives are an amp pre-amp section with some great amp modeling, updated sound engine, and some new effects. The amp models and effects sound way better than some previous versions including the ME-80. There are I believe 72 presets that can be modifies by the user. The operation of the pedal is very intuitive with no menu screens to mess with. I have been exploring the different effects and variations and I'm still discovering new sounds. This pedal is great fun and being a Boss product, it's built like a tank. I highly recommend this product.

I switched from a Boss ME-80, that I’ve been using for years to a Pedalboard with all single pedals (high end stuff). Sold the ME-80, but kept missing ‘something’. So when I found out that the ME-90 came out, I studied a lot of YT reviews and decided to give it a try. Very glad I did. To my ears the 90 sounds a bit better and also has some new possibilities that I like. So yes: I’m very happy with it!
