Bóveda (Spanish for "vault cellar") is a dual-direction product for moisture control, specifically designed for use in humidors and travel humidors as well as cases. It helps you store cigars optimally. Each packet contains a saturated solution of natural salts and pure water, protected by a membrane that allows moisture to pass in both directions. You will never have to remember to refill the water reservoir in the humidor again. Simply place the appropriate number of Bóveda packets in the humidor - and you're done. These only need to be replaced every 2-3 months. Bóveda releases regulated moisture, significantly reducing the risk of bacteria, mold, or fungi developing in your humidor compared to other humidification systems. Fluctuations in humidity levels are prevented, allowing your cigars to mature perfectly. Unlike traditional humidification systems, Bóveda guarantees a constant humidity level, preserving the natural oils and sugars in the cigars, enabling them to improve with age rather than lose flavor. This bag is designed to humidify humidors and is calibrated to achieve 62% relative humidity in the humidor. The humidification bag is packaged in an airtight retail bag, ensuring it remains virtually indefinitely shelf-stable while sealed. Bóveda offers a very precise, cost-effective, and user-friendly way to perfectly humidify your humidor.

I've used Boveda since I got my first humidor. The higher % for charging it and then the % in the lower 70's for prolonged storage. I have been impressed so I decided to look into long term flower storage. Instead of a humidor I am using a large glass jar with the 62% pack in there. There is about 80 grams of flowers in there. After it reached an equilibrium the flowers were perfect. They started out fairly dry and seemed to not have been cured well. The Boveda seemed to correct those issues. I have read reviews that say it loses some aroma and it doesn't seem to exactly be the case. The jar isn't potent smelling but when broken up the smell is even stronger and more appealing than before. I would suggest being careful with pokey stems. I wish all flower from the Dispensary had one in the container but not so much. For that reason I keep a few always on ✋

I have several jars each with about 15g. After 3 weeks with these paks in the jars, the humidity has continued to go down til where it is now around 56%. This has been tested with several different meters now. They are certainly not holding humidity to 62% which is roughly where the bud was before these paks were added.

Boveda Relative Humidity Pack
12 February 2019

This is a product that creates a stabilized relative humidity in a cigar humidor. The product is designed for various percentages, I chose 72 % for cigars I bought in Cuba. The product is very easy to use. Just place it into the humidor and load your cigars. Water vapor will slowly pass thru the membrane of the pack and it will stop when the desired humidity has been reached. After a time the pack will become empty of the water and that is when it should be replaced. I like this product because it is so easy to use. No mess, no mixing, no fuss.

Does exactly what it says on the packet
2 June 2017

Does exactly what it says on the packet. It's idiot proof. Stick it in a zip lock and it will keep humidity at the printed figure. For Spanish cedar humidors, use 72 for good seals. Maybe 75% for poorer seals and frequent opening of your humidor. I normally transfer a few cigars to a zip lock with a 69% bag a few days before I'm going to smoke them. It works perfectly for me. Recharging them takes a tupperware with distilled water in a shot glass or similar. Leave it for a few days and you're good to go again. Don't let the packs dry out completely.

Does exactly what its suppose to do

Whether cigars or other means of controlling humidity, these are the way to go. Please be advised that they REQUIRE to be in a enclosed environment in order to be effective. If something is extremely over dried, dont expect these to bring the humidity back to 62% as described. They can however either raise or lower humidity to the target number on the pouch, but extreme swings probably wont work. For example, if something has 30% humidity, dont expect the pouch to bring it back to 62%, thats too low, Ive tried and at best it may raise it to 50-53. Obviously this is the case if the humidity is too high as well, which is the reason why burping your jars or whatever you are using is necessary to control the release of moisture. I found these pouches are most effective ... MoreWhether cigars or other means of controlling humidity, these are the way to go. Good for Airtight Cigar Caddy
28 March 2023

Had 2 bags of 72% in airtight travel humidor and my sticks were too moist and wouldn’t burn evenly and would go out . Switched to two 69% and dried them out just slightly to where they should be for complete even burn. 72% is probably good for wooded humidors

I like Boveda Packs
29 October 2021

The price was cheapest than other sites and received the packs within two business days which was excellent. The 70 packs were received in a sealed light plastic bag so my only concern is how these packs are stored on your site in bulk and whether they are exposed to air on a frequent basis. According to Boveda it's ok to store the packs in a thick air tight zipper bag and will monitor how long they last.

Keep Your Cigars Safe With Boveda
4 February 2020

Boveda makes a great product designed to store your cigars at the proper humidity. If you have a cheap humidor the 72% RH packs are great. If you have an airtight humidor that produces a perfect seal youll want to go with the 69% RH packs to prevent your cigars from being too moist. These packs are safe, non obtrusive, and do a great job at keeping your cigars fresh. Boveda packs are a must have for any serious cigar smoker - if you value your money and cigars this is very cheap insurance.
