The skin area above my right lips got cut and bled for 10 plus mins. I changed to the astra blade which is sharper two days later but the shave is still not as smooth as a Gillette shaver. Don’t waste your money on this unless you like the classic shaver design.

Compared to the Merkur Futur that I owned previously, this one is slightly more troublesome when replacing blades as you need to unscrew the handle from the head. However build quality wise it's really solid and I like that it's lighter and easier to hold than the Futur.The included blades are decent at best, I wouldn't use it more than twice as it doesn't retain sharpness well. Pair it with Personna Med Prep blades and it's a really good combo.

Performance:10/10Suitability:10/10It’s not that hard to use actually. If you’re already used to using the conventional multi-blades shavers, switching to this is easy peasy. It only takes you 1-2 shaves to get the hang of it. The razor has excellent build quality, and it weight is just right to the hold, not too heavy, not too light. The Astra blades are superbly sharp. Smooth shaves, no irritation.
