Brabantia Foldable Dish Drying Rack Dark Grey

I love it’s minimal look and the fact that you can fold it up to put away. The perfect thing to have if you have small counter space. The excess water will stay on the mat so you’ll need to drain it yourself. But other than that, no complaints!

Beautiful & practical

After much searching for the right size and good design , this has not disappointed. If a dish rack could be beautiful, this is it ! Ease of cleaning was also important, and this is a dream to clean. Very very happy with this purchase.

Excellent if you're short on space

I think this drainer manages to blend both style and function really well. It's got really clean lines and the combination of grey and metal looks really smart. Practically, the fact that you can remove the cutlery holder makes it really easy when you come to clear the rack and put things away. Having the base and the rack gives you a good amount of space and I like that you can use the base on its own for larger items. The fact that it folds and can be put away means that it's ideal if you're short on worktop space. The only minor downside is that, unlike the larger brabantia draining rack, it doesn't have a lip that enable the water to run into the sink - although that might be a positive if you don't have space next to your sink.

Good for kitchens with no draining board

This replaced a standard one level metal wire drying rack, that we used to dry plastic items that came out of the dishwasher that needed airing. The plate rack comes with protective covers which are a good feature if you are concerned about damaging the pattern on your precious dinner service. The drying rack comes with a drip tray, however the tray doesn't have any holes for the water to drain away and the grooves are not deep enough, therefore water pools in the bottom. The drip tray would be ideal for anyone that doesn't have a draining board on their work surface. Although anything placed on the bottom could be left sitting in standing water and not dry effectively.

Great for the 2 of us

Love the fact this can fold away in a draw. It's very practical especially if people don't like leaving their dish drainer out. I would say it was great for my husband and I however if we had kids it would probably be a bit in the small side. I do love the stylish design.

Great product, but make sure you have space!

This Brabantia folding disk rack and tray is a really sturdy bit of kit. It feels well made and high quality, and I am not surprised Brabantia are happy to provide a 5 year guarantee to go with it.I was most impressed by how easy it is to setup and how well it folds away again once you no longer need it.It can hold 13 plates and a fair amount of cutlery in the attachable cutlery basket - about 15-20 of our cutlery pieces, depending on what you've used.We have quite a small kitchen, so while the foldable aspect is brilliant - and the footprint of the rack/tray is fairly minimal (37 x 33 cm) - I was not quite prepared for the amount of height needed to use the rack. Our cupboards are 46cm above the worktop and that just fit the rack underneath once our dinner plates had been loaded. You probably need about 60cm free space above your kitchen counter to easily load and unload the plates without moving the rack.Otherwise, I can't fault the item itself.

Handy-sized drying rack

This is a very handy and compact drying rack that works well in my small kitchen. It can be neatly folded away when not in use, and is unobtrusive when on the draining board. I would recommend it.

Ideal for a small kitchen

This is a very well designed drying rack and you can fit plates and pots on it at one time. It was easy to set up, although the instructions were for the deluxe version with glass holders which made me feel I should have gone for that one! However, once I'd put that thought out of my mind, I was very happy with this one. I like the fact it can be folded up and put away - ideal for people who like to have clear work surfaces or who are maybe short on space.

Used much more than expected

I've found myself using this much more than expected - especially for those items coming out of the dishwasher that need a little longer to drain before they're put away. This rack is really well made and looks great. I've had several comments about it from friends and family and the option of adjusting the width of the slots for thinner plates etc. is a bonus.

dish rack

hello everybody , I recently got hold of one of these foldable dish racks. what I feel about this is about 50/50 although it's good for space and it looks pretty neat. it's a great design if your going camping for example or a caravan holiday maybe but the tray that it sits on is no good as there is no drain holes anywhere so the water just gathers there once I've finished washing up! yes I still hand wash. also the rack itself does not hold bowls or cooking trays very well at all... so it's handy to have for camping but not really too practical (certainly not for a family with kids) to use.
