Brabantia Hanging Drying Rack - Metallic Grey 4.5m

I like this even more than I thought I would! I realized I wasn't using more than a couple rungs of my big clothes drying rack, yet it was taking up a TON of space when I set it up. So when I saw this suggested on Apartment Therapy, I was eager for an upgrade. While my closet door is really narrow, this still fits because the arms can be adjusted so that they hook over the top at an angle. This looks nice, it's versatile, and saves so much floor space.

This solved one problem and created several others, but our space situation for this type of thing is very limited. It requires a larger than 24" wide door and takes up quite a bit of floor space, if you do not have a dedicated area for this time of thing that is out of the traffic pattern in your home. It is sturdy however, and can be folded up for storage when not in use. So, if it solves a major issue, and you can live with the drawbacks, or have more options than we did, it is a good purchase.

A very useful rack to hang over door - space saving - lots of line space - ideal way to dry towels or anything really. Very sturdy and strong - I think a marvellous product - a real helpful item to have in your laundry - easy to use and easy to hang over door. Specially handy in winter, when raining and cold days when items don't dry outside.

Good idea But ...

I brought this to put washing on with the warmer weather instead of the heater airer first of all it's good quality. Hold a good amount. And it's easy to fold and put away.But you are best to measure the door frame for it . It doesn't fit all doors.And it hangs arward . You can not close the door. It makes the house looks scruffy but this wouldn't be a problem if you had a laundry room I don't know. If I hadn't got rid of box etc I would probably have sent this back. 🤷‍♀️ it might benefit to you if you had wall or balcony to dry some things.

Excellent product. Well-made and fantastic to have for rainy days to hang up washing indoors. Also takes up little space and when done, you fold it up and store in a cupboard. Highly recommended!

Large strong adjustable door airer

This is described as a radiator airer but shows a picture of a door. I have used this on my attic stair banister to use the void above stair. Really is properly adjustable and firmly locks into place. Would highly recommend, have ordered another as like it that much.

Quality airer

This is an excellent product and holds quite a lot of clothes. The hooks are too wide to hang over my radiator as the radiator is closer to the wall. I’ve had to hook it to the air vents on the radiator. It would be great if the hooks to be turned. Worth thinking about for future designs. Still a very good product

Really practical and useful

Very practical and useful for small items (pants, socks). I put this in my small utility space on the door or the stair landing banister. Highly recommend but for small amount of items / delicates that cannot go in the dryer

Very Handy

Bought this drying rack for use in our caravan and since buying it have used it at home for extra drying. Its all i hoped it would be. Is very strong and large enough to take several large towels and also hangs off several different items. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend!

Very Useful.

Whilst I kept this and have been using it since purchasing it, it is not perfect and certainly not as a 'radiator airer'. It would be more accurately described as a Towel Rail Airer because it needs to be hung up high, otherwise only socks and tiny stuff fits on it. I am lucky in that I'm not tall so I can hang it on top of a door and not bang my head! For this it is perfect and more convenient than having the clothes 'horse' stuck in the kitchen. I kept it and use it a lot.
