This was exactly what I was looking for. The parka is warm and comfortable. I've worn it in light showers but would not want to be caught in heavy rain while wearing it. On windy winter walks though it is great!
Having owned an original in the 60's I can say that this coat is a good quality reproduction of the original USA military parka . I am a 40 chest and 34 waist. The small was too snug , so they exchanged for the medium, which is a perfect fit. The price was competitive and the service from the sales and despatch team was excellent . Many thanks .
Bought this coat for early morning dog walking and really pleased with the product. Bought a medium and the fit is perfect (5’10” 42” chest) very warm, but haven’t worn it without the liner yet.
Not good , way too lightweight and thin , poorly stitched together
The zipper is reversed from most men's coats and XXL fits like a medium, except the arms/chest are tailored slightly wrongly so that you don't have full freedom of motion in the arms. The pockets are shallow and made of a thin layer of fleece so they aren't very warm and barely fit your hands even without gloves. Also the fabric of the coat is so thin it doesn't work well even as a windbreaker. This has none of the features of the m65/51 it was based on.
