Braun Classic Analogue Alarm Clock With Snooze and Continuous Backlight, Quiet Quartz Movement, Crescendo Beep Alarm in Grey, Model BC22G

This is an interesting colour for a Braun clock. However, there isn't much contrast on the clock face in terms of colour from two white hands and a grey background. It is not as easy to see the time in low light (without lighting up the clock) or in distance, as in the standard white-on-black (or black-on-white) models.It is still a nice clock with a good quality feel. The full price is still quite expensive, in my view.

Honest review here, I was stoked to get this clock for myself, then popped in some batteries and the backlight didnt work. Popped in some new batteries and the backlight still didnt work. I thought...okay well at least it tells time, thats fine. I've had this clock now about a month and in that month this clock has run slow, its about an 48 minutes slow from when I first set it a month ago. So at this point, it doesnt keep good time and the backlight doesnt work...so now I just kind of have a cute looking plastic paperweight. Pretty big bummer, I was hoping to get one of the Braun watches, but after this I think I'll just move on to another brand. I will say Customer Service responded quickly, and if they want to send me another clock I will gladly hope it works, but their suggestion of "did you try different batteries?" was pretty underwhelming.

This clock is elegant, extremely quiet and made well. I chose Braun for their reputation of excellence and was not disappointed.

Fits perfectly as part of any bedroom furniture. The quiet grey makes its main job as a waker upperer so much more acceptable to look at.

Such a good clock stunning to look at, the quality top noch i love it.

Lovely and a perfect size. But it would help if the hands lit up more in the dark. The two little dots aren't enough.

Great clock, but too bright back light.

I love this clock. I like the fact that I can turn off the lighted display, or use it as a night light. It has a very tactful alarm. And it looks great!

Had To Return

I like the look of this clock and don't mind paying a bit more for a quality product, BUT this had two fatal issues. 1. The light/backlight function didn't work. 2. Why does a small clock like this need THREE batteries? It is excessive. Had to return. Disappointing.
