I received this Braun mixer + 6 cup food processor 3 weeks ago. When the package arrived my first thought was will I really use this or will it sit on the shelf to be used for holiday meal prep. To my surprise I'm shocked that I actually use the blender at least 4 times a week. I use the hand held blender for breakfast to whisk my egg and pancake batter. The Braun Multiquick Immersion Blender fits most of my kitchen needs perfectly. Suitable for most tasks the powerful hand blender & attachments have done a great job of pureeing, blending & whisking. I've used in many ways from whisking whipped cream, smoothing gravy, & making tomato puree etc. It did take a little getting used to the pressure controlled speed control but once I did it was fine. The unit is fairly quiet and because of the longer shaft on the hand blender there is less mess. It's a breeze to switch between attachments & is easy to clean. I've used the food processor for grating hard cheese and it does so quickly & easily. This model comes with an almost overwhelming array of attachments, which will make it good value for money if I wind up using them all. In fact there’s so many that they desperately need a storage unit of some sort, which unfortunately isn’t included. I will have to re-purpose something else.I’ve only used it once so far, and it could not chop a half cup of rosemary springs. I don’t know yet if that means the blades are blunt, or if the volume was too small to be processed in its bowl. Let’s hope it’s just the latter.

What a great addition to my kichen. Looks good and works fantastic. Been wanting a hand mixer for years but have been using my food processor instead. What a time saver so easy to use and less parts to clean especially if you only want to purée soups. It has come in handy as my 28 year old Magimix is starting to choose when it wants to work or not so this new mixer is starting to take its place. Great if you have limited bench space.
I got this mainly for the immersion blender and food processor, but the added components are a bonus. The processor is nicely set up with a holder for the multiple blades, which pop in and out. This is a nice feature, although not sure why the French fry cutter couldn't have been incorporated into this set-up as it adds an extra blade. Also the french fries come out sort of curved and a weird shape (although they taste/cook fine). The bowl has drain holes in the base so that water doesn't sit when washing/drying which is a nice feature. The anti-slip rubber on the base, is also a nice feature. The biggest draw-back, however is the short length of the power cord, which doesn't work well for using the immersion blender for soups etc.

I can keep going. Product is lightweight and easy to handle. I actually love the safety feature that many complain about. My only (small) complaints is lack of directions on all the attachments. I am still a novice at some of these "fancy" gadgets and I end up having to Google to figure out how to use it. I would also like to suggest some kind of storage component for all the attachments.
