I am so glad I got this!!! Had a very old Epilady that had recently decided it had had enough, so obviously it was time to upgrade. Did some research, reading of reviews on various models of epilators, and decided on this one. It is perfect in every way!!! I originally thought the inbuilt light was more of a gimmick, but boy was I wrong. It is perfect if in less than ideal lighting and makes the experience so much easier. The number of accessories you get with this (for example the shaving attachments etc too)...only make this product all the more worth its weight in gold. Truly could not recommend highly enough. You wont be disappointed!!!

Recently my husband and I retired and we have hit the road in our caravan to do the big lap of Australia. With limited space in the caravan I had to think of other options for hair removal. My research found that the Braun Epilator was the best brand and option for my needs. Light, compact and rechargeable. Best purchase ever. Easy to use, no mess and the results are fantastic. I wish I had purchased one years ago. I highly recommend this product.

The Epil 9 is a game changer! I simply love it and wish I'd got it sooner. It covers more area, and is easy & flexible to use. It's so convenient to be able to do my legs and underarms in under 20 minutes (the first time) and I can use it befor, during or after a shower too. I found it both faster and painless compared to waxing and my previous epilator that was >8yo. I've resigned myself that the upper lip is always going to hurt but have not yet experimented with all the different sizes accessories or the speed settings. I was also very happy with helpful Shavershop salesperson (Whitfords, WA) who provided advice on the features I wanted and needed. All in all, a very happy customer!
I bought this product a month ago and it's fabulous. I've used a Braun epilator for the last 12 years, and this has to be the best model yet. It's comfortable to hold, and the built in light is great for finding stray hairs. The tweezers are wider, which means it covers more surface area and saves time. The battery charger holder sits nicely on the vanity and looks stylish in my bathroom. The accessories are also handy for trimming and epilating sensitive areas. I highly recommend this model, and is really good value for money.
I have been using an epilator for 6 years, possibly longer. Anyway I was sceptical purchasing a new epilator, as they're all cordless and reading mixed reviews I was considering to just stick to my 10 year old Braun epilator!!Well, I had a change of heart and decided to buy a new one. I am glad I did! I am delighted with my Silk Epil 9, I have actually thrown my old one out.It is simple and easy to use, the additional light is a terrific feature. easy to clean and quick to chargeif you use an epilator on a regular basis, ignore the bad reviews and buy this one!I truly believe the reviews on epilators are from people who haven' used on before
I shave daily so this is such a good time saver for me, especially in summer.It definitely hurts the first time but it hurts less and less as you go along.I suggest reading instructions carefully as you can break your hairs instead of ripping them out. As hard as it is make sure you glide the epilator slowly to decrease breakage. My favourite feature is the fact that it's waterproof, it decreases the pain a huge amount.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has to shave frequently or hates waiting for the hair to grow out for waxing. I'm hair-free for almost 2 weeks and it's great!
After years of shaving, I recently tried supermarket wax strips and was very disappointed with the result, so I finally decided to be brave and get this epilator. I wish I had got one years ago! Completely painless on my legs (I have very fine, sparse, light hair there). Underarms was extremely painful initially when using it dry. Tried it in the shower and it was much more comfortable. Subsequent uses have been much less painful, virtually painless. I am very pleased with the result and look forward to many hair free years to come.
I bought this product a few weeks ago and it is awesome! I had heard a few people say epilators were the way to go but I was always hestitant to try because the thought of pulling tons of hairs out at once made me cringe. However, the pain of the epilator isn’t even that bad! The first time it’s a bit of a shock, but the second time barely even hurt. This epilator has two speed settings which helps ease you into using it and the light is really helpful to see what hairs you have missed. It also fits really nicely into my hand. I did get a bit of redness after using the epilator, but by morning it is completely gone and my legs are so much smoother for longer compared to shaving! I definitely don’t think I’m going to go back to shaving now!
