But no doubt with the experience of using this machine I can confidently say that this machine works. It came with a venus razor which was very nice and easy to quickly shave before treatments. Huge visible reduction of armpit hair after 1st use (~95% hair hadn't grown back after 7 days). Not so much reduction in bikini line, chin, or leg hair yet (~30% reduction, definitely noticeable but not as good as the armpits), but will see how it goes after the recommended 4-6 treatments. Very promising results so far. I found I had to use the 'gentle' setting on my bikini line as it was uncomfortable ('zapping pain' sensation) on the highest setting. Feels like a little bit of heat for a couple of seconds. Easy to use and would highly recommend

My first impressions; upon opening my parcel I was very pleased to see my Braun Pro 3 came with a storage/travel pouch, face/precision attachment and a Venus razor. The bag came in very handy as I was worried I would lose the face/precision attachment or have to keep the device in its box which would be a pain on holiday. The inclusion of a razor was very helpful when getting started and I thought it was a nice touch. The bag came in very handy as I was worried I would lose the face/precision attachment or have to keep the device in its box which would be a pain on holiday. The inclusion of a razor was very helpful when getting started and I thought it was a nice touch. It is a mains-powered (both UK and EU plugs) device as opposed to rechargeable - which keeps costs down and also helps the device itself to be smaller and lighter in weight than some of the rechargeable ones I’ve come across in the past and I don't need to remember to charge it, which when looking after two toddlers is highly likely. It’s comfortable to hold in the hand, and it is easy enough to navigate the body and manoeuvre. I found the App; which could be used with your phone or tablet is really just there to keep track of when you’ve done a treatment and to remind you when to do more, was nothing more than a calendar which you could just make entries and reminders. I personally epilate and shave so this was my first time using such a product and I thought it would be painless so was a little shocked when doing my 48 hour tester to experience a warming, tingle, like hot pins when you fire the pulse of light. It really isn't bad and after a few goes you do get used to it, just wanted to raise awareness so others don't go into this expecting it will be totally pain-free. I knew I wouldn't suddenly going to be hair-free overnight, but I didn't expect such a lengthy process. You need to shave first, then use it, and expect to re-use the device over-and-over during subsequent sessions to start seeing a gradual reduction in the strength and thickness of the hair. In order to see results you will have to be strict and thorough, although I'm sure once you start seeing a result you'll be able to use the device less and less. Personally after using the device for 6 weeks I am slowly seeing a slowing in my leg hair growth, I have not noticed any difference in my arm pit hair but understandably the hair is thicker and darker there. I will maintain the routine I have currently got myself in, I can understand that the process may seem lengthy but after getting familiar with the device and process it does speed up, I just needed to make sure I allocated enough time to do it all in one sitting so I didn't accidently do some areas more than others, which with two toddlers isn't always ideal. I would definitely recommend this product to others, it is a slow and steady process which will eventually produce results, obviously the process will vary based on hair colour, hair thickness and skin tone but I think it is worth it. I will give an updated review after using the product for 6 months.

The result was better than I expected, stubble started to appear later in the week on my legs. The only down side was I could smell a slight hair burning smell at times. On my face the hairs weren't as visible as they usually are the next morning. The following week I emulated and then used the IPL the next day, this time there was no burning smell and the results lasted longer, stubble appearing in most parts at the end of the week. After the third week I had slight tough patches of hair and my face I could go without epilating for a few days. Now I don't have to epilate and use the Braun IPL every week. I've gone to using it every 2 weeks with amazing results. I can't believe how well Braun Silk-expert Pro 3 PL3132 IPL works. I wish this was around when I was a teenager.

I had a trouble to get the right skin contact in the beggining, no many flashes been released and I was missing big patches. It took me a while to get hang of it but learned how to keep the device in right angle.Treating legs by gliding type of treatment was quick and effortless; treating bikini line, underarms or face is more time consuming as this has to be done by stamping method when the precision head is used - this has slower sequence of flashing comparing with standard head.I have started notice the significant differences in hair grown in 4 weeks on my legs and bikini line. There is minimal change so far in my underarms and face area but the product is recommended to be used frequently for 12 weeks so I'm sure by this time I will be able to get the results I want.I'm very pleased I get hang of the treatment which really works!
