Two week ago we paid $16.16 for this product. Today I just grabbed one with other products & it wasn’t until I got home, saw the price was put up to $26.00, Come on, recycled bits of paper, 60% increase. Nah, it’s going back & a more economical product sourced from your opposition.

Have bought for years - no dust, holds waste together which makes it very easy to clear from litter tray. No odour. Our cats don't hesitate to use it. Breaks down well in the compost. I'm surprised The Warehouse now charges a little more than Countdown or Animates.

We have been using Breeder Celect Paper Cat Litter for years and find it to be one of the best and has no nasty chemicals and additives. It is sometimes out of stock so we were so delighted that Warehouse, Petone had it available.

We have been using this product for our cats for some years and they prefer it to any other type. You know what cats are like and how fussy they can be. In our local pet shop this is now quite expensive, in fact, the same price as here on Pet Planet. However we always buy at least 2 each time which brings the price down by a pound per bag with Pet Planet so we bought 4 and got free delivery too So, in all, saved 4 pounds, didnt have to lug it home, saved wear and tear on the car and myself which is all very positive. Great and I know where I shall be buying my next batch of Breeder Celect - Pet Planet.
Our cat was diagnosed with feline asthma shortly after we adopted him. We had some real issues finding a cat litter that didnt set of his asthma attacks. The RSPCA wood based litter and Tescos own version were initially fine but then we had odd bags that ha too much sawdust broken up pellets in that caused him to have asthma attacks. This product is dust free and has been an absolute lifesaver Not only is it Eco friendly, has better odour control than almost any of the litters we have used - throughout the 3 cats we have had as a family - but, it does not trigger our cats asthma It is also fantastic in being lighter for its volume than other forms of litter. This is a huge bonus for a Fibromyalgia sufferer like myself I used to buy other litters in smaller quantities in part because of the weight but also, to budget the cost across the month. This 30Ltr bag is totally worth buying instead as it is such excellent value for money I have only bought from pet stores before so, having this delivered to my door was a luxury and I think I will continue to order from online from here, even after the Corona virus situation has passed. I highly recommend this product.
We have been using recycled newspaper cat litter for years and when our usual supplier ceased trading we had to look for an alternative and this is when we came across Breeder Celect and Back2Nature which are basically the same product only one being in the main marketed towards cats and the other to small animals like rabbits, rodents, ferrets etc. We have used both for our cats buying which ever is the best price we can find on the internet at the time. Most lately we have stuck with Petplanet which seems to consistently offer a reasonable price, supply large quantities and delivery is fast and efficient which is brilliant service and great for us. This recycled newspaper litter has no dust, no smell, no clumping but rather the urine trickles to the bottom of the litter being absorbed into the paper as you would expect and is easily distinguished from the clean dry litter and therefore easily removed, cutting down on excess litter waste expense. If the stools lie on top or get buried by you catkitten they just stick to the adjacent litter pellets, again making removal easy, cutting down on excess litter pellet waste and expense. This is an excellent cat litter, one we have been using for years and highly recommend and have found to be at good value from Petplanet who by the way provide an excellent service.
One of my boys wheezes when exposed to dusty litter, so Ive tried a great many. BC is the only one that stays dust free. Its also absorbent and long lasting, especially when a very small amount of Cats Best Smart Pellet Clumping litter is added. This makes it easier to scoop out the soggy litter with minimal waste and the small quantity doesnt cause dust to rise when they dig, even when the pellets crumble. While BC does tread a little, the large pieces mean it stays near the tray and is easily swept up instead of spreading through the house. Its not the best for immediate odour control. However, very few litters cope well with particularly smelly deposits and the smells fade quite quickly, so the other benefits greatly outweigh this drawback.
I have had cats for 25 years, and this is hands down my favorite litter. Odor has never been a problem. I was shocked quite frankly how well it works. I saw a comment that said the fiber turned to black mush ? I had to wonder how long they let it sit there for that to happen, and I felt bad for their cats. This is in my humble opinion an excellent product, I was thrilled to discover it.
I have 3 cats and have found Breeder Celect to be an excellent alternative to the wood pellet type I had been forced to use when the dust from the grey clumping type blocked up his nose. Breeder Celect pellets are smaller than the wood type, and are lighter in weight. The best thing is that they dont disintegrate to sawdust like the wood type pellets do, which I found to be a royal pain in the rear end. When the cats wee on them, they change colour from light grey to dark grey, making it easy to see which area to scoop. I havent noticed any reduction in pooh smells as some reviewers say, but then my Mine Coon pooh smells like a weapon of mass destruction. I challenge anyone to make something to cover that pong. There is zero dust and zero disintegration with Celect ... MoreI have 3 cats and have found Breeder Celect to be an excellent alternative to the wood pellet type I had been forced to use when the dust from the grey clumping type blocked up his nose. There is zero dust and zero disintegration with Celect and this is what makes me happy to continue using it. The one downside is that it does track around the house, as my Maine Coon has snowshoe paws and the small pellet size easily sticks to his furry toes. Im forever treading on stray pellets, which is painful in bare feet. If it werent for my boy getting a blocked nose from the dust, Id still use the clumping type, but since Ive been forced to abandon that type, I shall continue with Celect.
I can't believe the price increase on this product from $18 to $26 and now $30 this is ridiculous! who wants to pay that for recycled paper not me... I have found this branded product elsewhere for only $20 so will be buying from the opposition from now on... Shame on you the warehouse definitely not a place 'where everyone gets a bargin' anymore
