Breville BJE410 Juice Fountain Plus Juicer - Clearance

This purchase was a replacement for a Juice Fountain that I have owned for over 20 years. For the past 10 years it has been used almost every day for my morning juice. (The only reason for replacing the old unit was because the power cord was frayed - it was still working perfectly but electrocution wasn’t worth the risk). My new model is quieter, more efficient (I get more juice from the same amount of fruit/veges) and the chrome looks pretty schmick!!! A great machine that I look forward to using for the next 20 years.

I have bought this Juicer ( possibly ) different model now in 2009 when my husband got sick of cancer and now 2024 this juicer is still going strong.. very reliable and it can juice anything. It just had the rest of time. My husband passed away and the juicer still getting serving me. With healthy juice every morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again if in any case that juicer stops working which I am positive it will last for more years. I juice up veges and fruits every morning with no fail. Reliable blades. This was a replacement for a different make/ model juicer. We were looking for a second hand one, but the great deal by Heathcotes meant it was only $50 more for a brand new one! Much cheaper than the other outlets at the time. And it is amazing! It is super fast, extracts SO much juice, and of course, fits whole pieces of fruit down the chute in one go! And clean up is also so easy, we have used this several times a week since we got it, which shows how easy to clean it is!Awesome machine, so glad we got it!

This product is so good lm on to my third one. First one was purchased almost 25 years ago l wore it out second one purchased 5 years ago. This one l used so much l blunted the juicing blade down. Yes l could have brought a new blade but l chose to replace the whole item as l do use my juicer every day. So l juice celery and carrots occasionally adding a apple. I love being able to wash whole carrots then drop it in no cutting down to size no tiny catcher for the pulp this item has the largest motor which is why l keep buying it and wearing it out. I have cronic arthritis need my celery jucie and the carrot is great for everything else. No lve not turned orange so l must have the balance of vegies correct. Please do not discontinue this item. Because serious juice ... MoreThis product is so good lm on to my third one. First one was purchased almost 25 years ago l wore it out second one purchased 5 years ago. Does the job, but much left to be desired.

Good Separates about 85% of fruit pulp in separate container Sturdy and well-constructed Bad- Produces too much foam- Only thin-skinned fruits can be juiced whole. Thick skin like oranges imparts disgusting flavour and texture - Does not fully remove pulp especially from pineapples. Requires extra sieve to make smooth juice - Heat from the moving parts makes juice taste metallic. Pointless for limes and bar work- Clean up is very tedious - Very bulky. Takes up entire dish rack when drying parts and in storage - Silicon tip on collecting jug is finicky and hard to position - Requires minimum amount of juice 500mL before foam separator (lid on jug) does its job- Fruit per kg for juice is more expensive than fresh store-bought

Good ol’ faithful!

I’m happy with my new juice fountain even if it is not a slow cold press juicer. Being on special at Betta, was a big bonus! All the design tweaks in the new model are really great especially the suction feet that stop it jumping when you turn it on. It is very loud but that’s the price you pay for fast juicing I guess.

Great value

I bought this to do a juice diet. Its great for juicing a small amount (like up to a litre), but it does struggle with more than that. The motor gets hot, but its easy to turn off for 10 minutes then keep juicing. Not really that big a deal..it gets allot of juice out of fruit and veg, it does struggle a bit with harder things like kale stalks, but again, for this price point isnt an issue. I bought one for my mum and liked it so much I bought for myself. Overall its a great juicer and Id recommend it . My mum, who has never had a juicer before, is using it every morning for my dads orange juicehe wont drink commercial OJ anymore and after only a week adding fresh veggie juice to my diet, my bloating has gone down considerably, and Im feeling more energised.

Juicer supreme

Bought this juicer a month ago as I am getting older, late 60's now and I am not a big fan of bottled/processed vitamin pills -supplements. Most are just peed away into the toilet and give only minimum absorbing to the body. I believe the placebo effect of vitamin pills does more good. So, after deep reading and personal experience fresh juice therapies are a better option, especially carrot juice. 1/2 a glass every couple of days. The new Brevil juicer is amazing, quick to operate, easy clean and super efficient. My wife had a very annoying persistent cough. The doctors had no answer. Main reason I bought the juicer. Within 7 days the coughing had stopped. It has also reduced my puffy legs after 2 weeks. The Brevil juicer has a large feed throat which means less ... MoreBought this juicer a month ago as I am getting older, late 60's now and I am not a big fan of bottled/processed vitamin pills -supplements. Just peel you fruits or vegetables to reduce bitterness then remove seeds if relevant as this reduces bitterness. We love the machine ♥️

Really great juicer

This is my first juicer and hopefully the only one I'll ever need. It's great with all kinds of different fruits and most of all it's quick and easy to clean. One of the best things for me is that I dont have to peel fruits with edible skinsand that I get pretty much all the juice out of each fruit, so nothing goes to waste. This juicer is definitely worth it! A few weeks in and it's ready my favourite and most used appliance!

Very fast and powerful

The good it's incredibly fast and powerful. Unless they're large apples (might need to cut in half) this machine will totally take a whole apple and make juice of it within seconds. Can put in carrots 2-3 at a time. It's really impressively fast. It does what it says it should - put anything in it, get juice out.I'd say the juice quality is high, and delicious (but that's also a factor of what produce I put in and I love veggie juices. The bad (or at least, not so good) - it creates a LOT of foam. This is mitigated by the built in foam skimmer in the jug, but about 2" of the jug will be just foam, even after cutting produce to be smaller and trying to press it through slower. - it takes up a huge footprint on the counter and while the design fits all the parts ... MoreThe good it's incredibly fast and powerful. It's billed as "easy clean" but you really have to pull it apart and clean it all immediately, and the little brush that comes with it doesn't actually fit in every crevice. There's a rim around the top of the hopper that I can't get into to clean at all. Totally not worth the effort just for a glass or two gotta make a full jug to justify the cleaningOverall I like it, it's probably similar to other juicers, and the only thing I have to compare with is a smaller Kambrook model from the 90s.
