Breville BJS700SIL The Big Squeeze Juicer

I bought this product over the Hurom HZ and The Kuvingz EVO due to features and price point. I felt Breville would give me a quality product and I could trust that even though it was less expensive it would do everything these other machines do and better but it did not live up to my expectations. Now don't get me wrong if you are using soft fruit that isn't stringy you won't have issues and this product will work amazing. Yet pineapples, celery, oranges, cucumbers, mangos, you use enough of these and you will see the pulp back up alot. That is annoying especially when you only have 30 mins to use this machine. So annoying in fact I bought the Breville bluicer 3x pro cause it was more powerful and I was disappointed by the amount of fruit it took to keep up with what I was recieving from the big squeeze. So it like sacrifice juice or be annoyed and waste time unclogging pulp everytime I want to make a green goodness type drink if you enjoy bolthouse juices you know what that is made of. Unfortunately I'm definitely returning the 3x pro cause that's not for me. I'm going to buy a hurom HZ or the Hurom H200 easy clean and see how it compares to the big squeeze before I return it. Because overall the Big Squeeze isn't as bad as compared to overall issue of other juicers I have had.

Absolutely no problems, exactly what i wanted, pulp comes out dry. This machine will work like a dream if you know the basic rules of juicing. If you're new to slow juicing I recommend watching some videos or studying up beforehand so you know how to properly use the machine.I have been using my juicer for two months now and have not found a single fault.I juice twice a week i find the juice stays very fresh for the first three days in the fridge.Cleaning is fairly simple so long as the food hasn't dried i always clean my machine straight after use and find most of it comes off with a rinse under the tap. Bought this a few months ago. It's fantastic at juicing. Quite easy to prepare fruit and veggies and can create over a litre in as little as a few minutes. Breezes through hard veggies such as carrots, celery, apples, etc. There are only three downsides in my opinion. The first one is that the large item food shoot is a bit cumbersome, so I prefer to just send everything through the small hole chopped up smaller. Perhaps they could make this opening larger. The second downside becomes more noticeable after heavy use and that is that it is not as easy to clean as claimed. There are a couple of spots that no cleaning tools will reach, so moisture and bits of food can become trapped. I've really had to adapt how I use it and clean it to keep it clean. Not so sure the cleaning brush will last five years, when it is used everyday. The last downside is the seal at the bottom can at times leak, but this is minor. However, overall I would still recommend this juicer given its actual juicing function and ability. Its intended use far outweighs the little inconveniences which hopefully Breville will put more thought into in the next model.
