The app to control the electric blanket via Wi-Fi was easy to setup on the iPhone but the control itself was unreliable. I would need to set the temperature level multiple times as it would keep resetting to a different number. Sometimes I wasn’t able to set it at all and had to turn it off and back to auto mode again which defeats the purpose of remote control.Another issue is heat level 1 to 6 are all similar. I’ve used other brands before where it could be left on the lowest setting overnight but not this Breville one, the lowest setting is way too hot.Overall this is a really poor product. I ended up returning it for a full refund. I would recommend everyone to steer clear of this.

Purchased the non-wifi unit in April of 2022, I made the decision to go Breville after having multiple cheaper electric blanket models from shops such as Big W, Kogan and Target all failing within 6months. To my disappointment the BodyZone model I purchased in April failed within 3 months on the side that was getting the most use. This occurred in the most basic use case turned on low to medium every second night or so with no spills or damage to the blanket. I returned the blanket to Myer Westfield Marion and had an extremely smooth and easy return process, they accepted the return and offered a refund, however I chose to use the credit toward the next model up (Wifi model) and paid the difference out of pocket. It has only been one night but I am impressed with this model and its wifi features. Adding it to the Smart Home app was simple and it works very well with no latency. The blanket is of great material and structural quality and feels it is worth the high price. It is extremely fast to heat up and I am yet to come across another blanket with such a nice interface with so many options and heat zones. Hopefully this model lasts longer I have a feeling it will as the return worker said She has only every seen one other Breville blanket returned faulty.

The blanket is good quality and fits a king single, high walled mattress well. It heats up quite fast, so long pre-heating is not required. The BodyZone is ok, but you must have both zones on - i.e. you cannot turn off zone 1 and have zone 2 on low – to keep your feet warm. The Breville App is appalling - It is a nightmare to sign up, finally worked out the password must be exactly 8 characters long. Connecting the app to the controllers initially seems to work ok - if you are patient... but it looks like the controllers disconnect from the network frequently, so when you try to turn it on using the app you often get a loading circle and need to go and reset the controller - it’s actually quicker to just go to the room and turn the blanket on manually. If you do turn the blanket on using the app and decide to turn it off before the timer is up, you have to open the app up on your phone to do this because to turn it off using the controller, you have to switch it to the “off” position – where it cannot talk to the app at all. If you switch it back to “auto” so it can talk to the app, before the timer has expired it will turn the blanket back on again. Ultimately it’s a pain! Finally - the app only allows you to turn the controller on / off and set the temperatures and timer (for it to turn off automatically) - as advertised, but it would be ideal if you could use it to set up a schedule for the blankets to turn on, which is what people actually want!
Electric blanket is absolutely superb. Great Breville quality and it works so well. I'm giving it a 2 star rating purely for the fact that the Wi-Fi version purchased is let down by a seriously terrible App. The set-up procedure is marred by a bug which I only discovered trying an Android phone to setup rather than iOS. The user name cannot be an email! If you attempt to setup using an email address, you get a password warning advising that password must be 8 characters or more. Even if you have 8 characters, you can't signup if you've used an email address. Also, even when you have setup an account, on iOS the App doesn't display correctly on an iPhone. Using an iPad, it does. Breville please fix all of this and I'll give you 5 stars.
Was very excited about this blanket as our room is far from the rest of the house, so the remote was a fabulous idea. Unfortunately, the connection wouldn't work. Also, the blanket was used manually and worked perfectly for about a month. One side doesn't work at all and the other side overheats. I hate giving bad reviews and I normally love Breville products but I just think people should know before they buy.
I have bought quite a few Breville appliances and have always recommended them but this item is one I have been really disappointed with. The app is terrible with poor instructions and English, but worse it is highly inconsistent and more often than not takes so long to connect you give up and manually adjust the blanket settings.Although the instruction booklet claims the blanket offers heat settings 0-6, it doesn’t actually allow for zero. As this was one of the key reasons I bought this body zone style blanket, believing I could warm feet without overheating on top. for a big company that does some great products this unfortunately is not one of them and is really disappointing given the premium price tag. Don’t waste your money.
Nicely made, premium feel. washable top cover which is removable. Fancy controllers which can connect to wifi and allow remote control (from outside of the network). Very customisable, 2 zone (top and bottom) heating with 6 levels of heat. Timer quite extensive range in hours.some weird quirks with the controller. I think I've worked it out, occasionally wouldn't hold the selected value (e.g. heat to 3 and it would revert to 6).I would recommend!
This blanket heats up quickly with manual and automatic controls and a timer. Its dual zones are a good feature with the ability to have different settings for the top and bottom half of the blanket. This model comes with the App functionality. The instructions are somewhat unclear in how to pair each blanket. I followed the instructions on pairing that are included in the manual and not the seperate App manual. The App is pretty handy as I can turn the blankets on from any location. The blankets are a little pricey. Ordering was easy and delivery was very fast.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will say up front the blanket itself is not that bad, had it for a few weeks now, its warm, easy to use and for most part comfortable, but for the WiFi, really what you expect from Breville and SMART devices in general, it misses the mark greatly, and customer support don't seem too phased about itThe Good:-The warmth levels, at least for myself-The quilted cover is comfortable-The App works just enough to use, sometimesThe Average:-The controllers are massive and cables are too thick-The cable connection intrudes into the bed itself too much, you sleep on it and hurts if in wrong position.-For the price, its not worth it, expected way more of a Breville product. No updates for long time and simple things suggest app is getting no attention. (iPhone 12). Just random issues and bugs.-No SMART features like Google Home, or such that you can do with other home automation apps.-I spent 4+ hours trying to get the controllers to connect and in end worked it out on my own by powering the units off and on till they connected.
