Works well. Looks good. Not too big. Surprisingly draws a lot of moisture from the air. Good to use on rainy days to dry laundry indoors if you don't have a dryer, takes a whole day though. Only thing to be aware of is that it blows out warm air so it's not ideal to use on hot summer days. I have not used it in winter yet, so I'm interested to see how much it warms the room. I'm guessing that it could be good to use as a heater during cold, wet winter days. Have only had this a couple of months but I think it's a good purchase.

Bought this when we had 3 weeks straight rain and were desperate to do laundry, but also have a main bedroom that gets 'damp'. Delivery was so fast, ordered at lunch on Wednesday and it arrived on Thursday morning (NSW metro depot to regional destination). Instructions easy to understand, plugged it in right away and saw results within a few hours. It does throw out some warm air but I was expecting this and it seems to be a normal function of all dehumidifiers. You can use the warm air to your advantage for laundry drying, and I had a pedestal fan run near the machine and the room was not uncomfortable. The automatic features like turning off when it reaches set humidity and alerting when tank is at capacity all worked really well. Running on lowest humidity setting (40%) I maybe emptied the tank 1-2 times a day. Emptying tank was really easy, just pulls off the back of the machine and because it's only 2L it's easy to carry. Haven't tried with the hose, haven't needed to. Hot tip for laundry while this particular machine doesn't have a laundry 'setting', you can just set the humidity to lowest and place it under an indoor clotheshorse, making sure to keep plenty of space around all side of the machine (there are recommended spatial distances to keep, follow those instructions). The warm air from the machine will dry your clothes at the same time as drawing away moisture. A fresh load of washing would be dry within around 4-6 hours.

With all this rain been having a real bad mould problem. Not only that, the house just felt heavy with moisture, everything was always so cold. This Breville Dehumifier is hands down the best purchase we’ve made for the house. Once it’s full in one room we empty the tank and move it to another. So easy to move and use. 3 weeks so far and it has made the biggest difference to enjoying being in our cozy home.

Dehumidifier - outstanding!
2 August 2021

We now live in our caravan full time and normally during winter would be up north of Australia in the warmer weather! However, due to covid we have been stuck in Victoria for the last 2 winters! We have a lot of trouble with condensation in the caravan, even the doona has felt damp some mornings. We have had moisture absorbers in the cupboards, in our bedside cupboards, on the window shelf, even tried 6 different moisture absorbers that you can dry in the microwave, all to no avail unfortunately! Decided that we needed to try a dehumidifier and hope that it would work. We cannot believe the difference it makes, even the first nights use!! My wife had to spend about 30-40 minutes each morning wiping down the walls, cupboards, bed head etc! Talk about impressed!! Good Dehumidifier
24 May 2022

Works well - assisting with the damp issues with all the rain in Sydney. Helping to remove excess moisture in our living areas. We use it 24 hours at the moment and it fills up quite quickly. Helping with the mould in the house. A little noisy, but can be operated on a lower setting to reduce the noise. Has a helpful beep function when it is full up. Easy to empty and replace the water container.

Good at dehumidifying, but some design flaws
8 June 2021

Good at dehumidifying, but some design flaws. The most important thing - this thing is GREAT at pulling the moisture from the air. Its reliable and even on the quiet setting gets the job done. Worth noting that on the high setting the thing sounds like a jet flying overhead. The downsides - no wheels, no ability to wall mount, and a bit of an odd shape - that means you need to find somewhere to sit it and its kind of intrusive looking. Emptying the water container is a real pain - it clicks in quite solidly, so you often spill a little getting it out. Similarly the power cable is right where you remove the water tray - which adds to the trouble of removing it. Overall - would I buy this mode again - a firm no for me. If you were using it somewhere that you can run the drain hose set-up, thatd make this unit good, but the poor tray design really lets down an otherwise effective unit.

Great machine
11 August 2022

I purchased this for my daughter living in Sydney with a mould problem in her apartment. Literally no moisture in the morning in her bedroom and no new mould growing. She uses it when drying her clothes and it now takes a few hours vs a few days previously due to the moisture being pulled out. Additionally, the shirts no longer require ironing and the warm air it puts out is sufficient heating.

Reviews are very flattering
2 November 2022

Having used other dehumidifiers, I was disappeared with the All Climate, but I will keep it. The main problem is the heat it pumps out...it's not ideal to have hardware that's commonly used in winter and when windows are closed, to be spewing out hot air. It will add 1-5 degrees of heat to the room. The other problem is the build quality; it's cheap and very light Saying all this, it does a good job and has many options including a wide range of filters. It's an okay unit, we just have it in a room were not in or going to sleep in.

The difference is incredible
4 September 2021

Our Sydney apartment suffers from terrible humidity through the winter months. We've tried everything, air circulation, opening the windows as much as possible as well as those moisture sucking granules. Nothing was working properly and so we went nuclear with this bad boy and honestly, it's some of the best $$$ we've ever spent. It's incredible the difference it makes! We also now use it to dry our clothes on the line in the spare bedroom, I find I prefer that to the washing machine's dryer function. One thing to note, it isn't as quiet as I perhaps had anticipated even on its lowest setting. So sleeping trough the night with it on is not really an option fyi.

Works fantastic
27 July 2022

It’s fairly quiet, which is great for keeping on when you don’t want a lot of noise in the apartment/house. I have used it in all sized bedrooms with a range of bedroom humidity. I initially bought it for the mould that was growing in my apartment after the floods and have now since you still in my parents house and my current apartment. It turns itself off after the water catchment box fills up, which is a great extra feature.
