Cafe level coffees at home!!

From the user friendly guides to simplistic adjustment features, personalised button for your favourite coffee, easy to clean trays and accessories, to the beautiful aesthetic finish and easy to move and lock feature. I feel like a seasoned barista using this machine. Not only does it produce the perfect shot (or, as I prefer, a 1 and a half! Yes!) but it accommodates for the three different types of milk we use in our home. You can even adjust your froth - which is great for our kids’ hot chocolates!I absolutely love that they included the accessories (milk jug, puck bucket) at no additional cost to the consumer. What I don't understand is why they won't send the replacement, especially since I received a dud, when they have confirmation and can track that the original has been shipped? If I requested a replacement and don't send back the original, then charge me again! If I has known it would take over 2 weeks to get the replacement, I would've just requested a refund and purchased a new one. Would've arrived sooner, 3 days later in fact. Very poor policy and procedure. Didn't expect this from such a high end retailer. What an awful experience with Williams Sonoma.

If you try with the single shot basket with a bottomless portafilter, it is a complete disaster. Be prepared for the shot to be splattered all over. You can waste as many bags of coffee beans you like. The only solution is either avoid using bottomless filter or do your own grinding, distribution and tamping, if you want to pull the shot the right way.The dial in assistance is a joke. It merely keeps on recommending to increase or decrease by one or two grind levels without any intelligence. You would have done this anyway just based on the brew time. The machine is convenient and easy to use nonetheless. If you have the budget, go for it but don't expect barista level results.

Good machine, poor instructions

Packaging was well thought out and all of it is recyclable…no styrofoam. The included manual is in Spanish, which I don’t read or speak! The final pages were pictorials with English captions, thankfully. The pictorials take you through setup only…no usage instructions. This is also true of the pdf download owners manual which offers no use instructions…just features, cleaning and troubleshooting. This is not an intuitive machine. I did find a Breville Master Class tutorial which was extremely useful…find it on YouTube. The prompted setup steps worked well. The machine connected to my WiFi network seamlessly and an update was downloaded and installed…no clue as to what that included. The display is terrific and responsive. One has to pay close attention to quantity options after selecting a drink. The Barista Guidance function is helpful and clever. The grind size knob adjustment is strange however. The machine itself is attractive and seems well made. Overall I am happy with this choice yet it takes a considerable amount of experimentation to get things where one wants them.

I had been using the original ORACLE since it was first introduced to the market. I just recycled my 4th Oracle after receiving the Oracle Jet….Here’s why: the grinder on the Jet, actually works! The reason I was on my fourth Oracle was due to the grinder. After a few years, it always became impossible to get a good shot, even with freshly roasted beans. This newly developed Oracle still allows me to dial in espresso shots, but I no longer need to also adjust my tamping settings, which is really nice…Also, this heats up immediately! Incredible Machine! Worthy upgrade to Barista Touch Impress
18 September 2024

I've had the Barista Touch Impress for about six months, and I've loved it. I needed to give my machine to my mom recently, and I decided to give the Oracle Jet a try and see if it's a worthy upgrade. I'm incredibly happy with my purchase! The Jet is similar to my Touch Impress but better in every respect. Its large, beautiful display and gorgeous LED lighting make it look even better. The grinder has more settings and is more robust. I have no doubt it will handle light roasts with ease. The dosing is more consistent than that on the Touch Impress (which varied quite a bit), and the tamped puck is also cleaner. The second thermojet in the group head makes an obvious difference in producing a consistent extraction from the first shot. The second thermojet in the group head makes an obvious difference in producing a consistent extraction from the first shot. Lastly, the milk wand is again, much more robust, and is better at auto milk steaming. It also has a larger water tank, always nice, and you can view the level and fill it from the front, which is awesome. The ability to move the unit on wheels is great too. Lastly, the OTA firmware updates that add recipes and potentially make the machine better are awesome. I already saw several new recipes get added in my first update. The little sounds also create a premium feel as well. I'm just extremely happy with the purchase and very impressed with the unit. It makes it about as easy as it could possibly be to quickly make a consistent, great-tasting latte. And, if I ever want to be OCD about it, I can always throw a funnel on the tamped puck, WDT it, and tamp again with a third-party tamper. Doing so *greatly* improved results with the Touch Impress, and I'm going to try on the Jet as well, but frankly, it seems so consistent so far as to maybe not even need it. If you're on the fence, buy it! You will not regret it.

Opposed to the other reviewer, my software update was smooth. As for the blue tape to hold it all together…seems quite required for shipping expensive products (LOL). Not enough flexibility in the manual programming

We purchased the new Oracle Jet with great expectations and it lives up to most of them. The auto tamping is a great feature as is the water fill point in the front and the wheels to move it around. What disappoints me is the positioning of the water spout to the coffee spouts. Once again, the old Barista Touch could be programmed by time which gave the exact amount for the strength of coffee and the size of the cup.

Absolutely stunning, velvety rich coffee maker/daymaker. I am an absolute coffee snob. I don't bother drinking a coffee unless it’s. from my local known trusty barista….where they make it perfectly…I wouldn’t drink a petrol station coffee or from most franchised cafes unless they have specific milk, beans etc….i’m hard to please ….I say all of this because I have been wanting to buy an in-home coffee machine… I tried many of friends machines…. Top of the line Nespresso… Delonghi self service machines…I found them hard to use, never consistently good, and the milk was never right. Well, I brought this Oracle-Jet machine and I could cry ….it makes perfect perfect perfect coffee… I drink soy and oat milk lattes ….I like my milk velvety soft…. Well, I brought this Oracle-Jet machine and I could cry ….it makes perfect perfect perfect coffee… I drink soy and oat milk lattes ….I like my milk velvety soft…. Micro bubbles, not too frothy and big bubbly…and it makes the milk so so so perfect. It’s literally Divine…it’s so easy ….The screen makes it happen like a magic. like having my absolute favourite barista from my top coffee shop at home making me coffee…yes it is that good. Worth every single penny….I have no idea how I will get coffee from anywhere else now it’s just so so much better at home. My hubby likes long black and he says it’s perfect as well. I love you can choose milk temp, that it does soft fluffy milk for my kids hot chocolates… it literally everything I ever wanted in a coffee machine at home. Best bits….super super cant stuff up easy, screen so easy to navigate, so easy to get perfect every time, so good at doing normal or alternative milks, can set the temperature, you can set the grind size, you can pre programme all your personal drink choices, you can set the machine to start up and warm up at different times on different days. Even multiple times a day. Love that you can choose how fluffy you want your milk…they give you normal size milk jug, but a larger jug fits… comes with double and single shot heads. You are gonna love this machine
