This elec fry pan is by far the best ive ever purchased. Evenly cooks, duarble, easy to clean. Its a little more expensive than some others on the market but to be honest in 2 years ive purchased cheapy ones between $89-$109 3 in total. I wish i would have just spent the extra and got the bettwe quality Breville. Learn from my mistake...

Only had it 2 days before I did get to get it for making and cooking lasagne in.Did check for reviews on all electric skillets and electric frying pans and this appear to be the most favorable at the moment but I didn't want stainless steel so opted for this colour. Very swanky, love that the lid have ventilation hole for hot steam to escape through. Havent figured out the tilting part but that can wait.MOST IMPORTANTLY: if you're serious about this one, you better measure up your sink. This Thermal Pro Banquet is a HUGE, rectangular shape...and its lid just fit my sink!CONS: One thing I did noticed, the rim of the lid made cleaning 'not a breeze', it seem to be trapping moisture and food splatters right where the metal rim (inside and underneath) attached to ... MoreOnly had it 2 days before I did get to get it for making and cooking lasagne in.Did check for reviews on all electric skillets and electric frying pans and this appear to be the most favorable at the moment but I didn't want stainless steel so opted for this colour. Wiping clean during cooking is a bit pointless but washing did clear a lot of it out...but even after being washed (a good scrubbo!), the lid still got a bit of food trapped inside the rim. I like to cook in clean pots, pans etc, the lid is one that I'm not enthusiastic about. Yes I've pot lids made of tempered glass, they all scrubbed up very well (had been for the last 20yrs) but this one, which I've only had for 2-3 days, and in one cooking, had me frowning about keeping that lid clean, not so much during cooking but afterwards. Need to be sealed or something...so it's a manufacturing issue or rather the construction design of it.I'm still going to use it as it had done a fabulous job with cooking lasagne in it (fresh homemade pasta sheets, on lowest setting of simmering and left for about half hour). This appliance is perfect for what I want it to do....minus the cleaning issue

I received my new frypan promptly. I cooked a delicious lamb roast that night. I loved the non-stick surface which is easy to clean, the see through lid so I could watch the cooking progress, and the shaped corner which made pouring gravy straight from the pan very easy.I’m very happy with the service and this product.

This large-capacity skillet is incredible for a myriad of dishes. I’ve managed to decrease the amount of time it takes me to make dishes that require batch cooking; there’s enough room to avoid overcrowding. This makes perfect pancakes, eggplant/chicken Pharmasan, a ton of Asian-style dishes, et al. Clean up is quick too. I’m very happy and impressed with my purchase.
I have owned three of these pans over the last several years. It is a great pan, nice and big and we use it daily. The only problem is that it doesn't last. We are careful not to put on too high a heat, only used non-stick safe utensils and never put olive oil in our pan and yet after a year or so we always end up having things sticking in this pan. I have considered trying the stainless steel but am hesitant as I worry that it will stick even more. Unfortunately when trying to contact Breville to discuss I have had no response. All of my appliances are Breville (toaster, kettle etc) so I love the brand.
I love this frying pan! Why I went with it initially: middle of the road pricing on Myer website, brand I recognise, additional features like tilt lever and rack, decent size. Why I LOVE it: I'm 40yrs old and not a big lover of cooking so I've never owned a "proper" frying pan - always went with the $35 ones from other sellers but I recently just got so sick of the weak heat (even at full heat!) and the uneven cooking was ridiculous (sausages had to take turns in the middle!). So I lashed out and treated myself to a proper grown up frying pan! OMG I'm never going back, why hadn't I don't this sooner!! The even heat distribution is amazing (no cooler corners or taking turns in the middle); it's almost instantly responsive to turning it up or down; when you simmer ... MoreI love this frying pan! The even heat distribution is amazing (no cooler corners or taking turns in the middle); it's almost instantly responsive to turning it up or down; when you simmer you can actually see bubbles across the whole pan (like a spa bath! and not just in the middle!); I like the words on the gauge (I feel like a chef); it's super easy to clean; big fan of the tilt lever (as opposed to putting a tea towel under one end lol); it's a substantial weight, obviously very good quality, makes cooking a breeze! I'll have this for years!!
I did not want another electric frypan. I have had a succession over the years and no matter what they promised and how much I spent on them they always cooked unevenly and were a nightmare to clean. So my husband bought me this one without asking me. We had just got an oracle coffee machine which I am in love with so he thought he would get away with it. Well I am amazed. It does cook evenly and so easy to clean! and so light, It really is the one that lives up to it’s promises-just like my husband!
I love my new thermal pro fry pan, the ease of use, the surface area is so wide and the ability to clean it with a paper towel and warm soapy water. I removed one star as the temperature cut out the first time I used it. The food hadn’t completed it’s cooking. I would not return it, I just need to adjust to cooking a little quicker or differently to what I have with my last Breville fry pan. I had that one for about 10 years and wouldn’t choose another brand. Thank you Breville.
I've recently purchased the Thermal Pro Non-Stick electric frying pan and am absolutely loving the cooking experience. From heating up quickly, to accurate temperature control throughout the cooking process. It is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, includes high-end finishes and seems very robust. Lastly it's very simple to wash.I would highly recommend it if you want to whip up great meals in a short amount of time. I'm hoping I'll be able to get many years of use out of it.You should try one and you'll see what I mean.
This is a very good product. To make it perfect for me:1. To avoid scratching the surface of the pan, put silicone “feet” on the stainless steel rack used when steaming and roasting. To avoid scratching the surface, when using the rack, I will be using 2 Silpat Jelly Baking Mats (14 ⅜” x 9 ½”). (One isn’t quite big enough and the half sheet size is too large.) By the way, I put one Silpat in the pan to avoid the temperature probe scratching the surface.2. Re: temperature probe settings. Warm, simmer, sauté, pan fry, and sear are subjective terms, and I would prefer more objective information even if it was only in the Instruction Book. My “guestimates” are: “WARM” = under 200°F, “SIMMER” = 200°F - 300°F, “SAUTÉ” = 300°F - 350°F, “PAN FRY” = 350°F - 375°F and the ... MoreThis is a very good product. To make it perfect for me:1.
