An excellent System!

I purchased the Flair system to take on the road for holidays and camping trips.I managed to brew my first (successful!) shot , and found that the espresso from the Flair is at least as good as I get from my Rocket Giotto Evoluzione machine. Excellent crema and lots of "zing". It took quite some time to get the grind and dosage right. This was excacerbated by also having to adjust my new Lume Portable Burr Grinder.Using a scale is essential with the Flair to get the dosing right - at least when starting out and I highly recommend getting the pressure gauge add-on for the Flair as well.A couple of (minor) points:1. Delicious affordable and portable expresso

First shot was delicious with Plenty of creme. Great for single shot coffee or multiple if you buy a second portafliter to save time.Matches well with: Bellman milk steamer, temperature indicating cup and a Kinu manual grinder.

Disappointed.

This machine is a pain to use and clean, takes up a load of space and just doesn’t deliver the crema that it advertises. I’m also not buying all this BS from the manufacturer about needing freshly roasted beans that have been ground by virgins in the Amazon for it to make proper crema either.I was so disappointed that I subsequently purchased a Nanopresso which I find to be simpler to use, easier to clean and able to deliver a far superior cup of coffee (with rich and thick crema)Save your dollars and buy two of the Nanopressos instead.

Excellent simple espresso
13 May 2020

So I needed to replace and old dead espresso machine and wanted to go with something that has a small footprint on the kitchen bench and something that was a little more portable. Enter the Flair.Initially I was nervous about how I would go with a manual machine and controlling the pressure to get the shot just right, then I had my first attempt. It's so simple and easy I'm kicking myself. The first shot was absolutely perfect and I haven't looked back. Pairing the machine with a good grinder is essential and definitely contributes to my success. Wholeheartedly recommend the Flair.

Fantastic niche kitchen equipment
16 December 2018

I recently purchased the Nutramilk to make more but milks and butters. I’m very impressed by the quality of the parts. It rivals Magimix in terms of the quality of the blade and the plastic used for the main compartment. But most importantly it’s easy to use and very easy to clean. No but milk bags are needed and the milk is silky smooth. You don’t need to scrub the mesh screens; hot soapy water and a dish cloth will suffice. I’m really happy I purchased the Nutramilk. It’s definitely expensive but I think the quality makes it worthwhile especially if you have an allergy or lactose intolerance and will be regularly making nut/seed/grain milks.

Great portable espresso
25 July 2018

After some great advice from Justin at Alternative Brewing, I purchased the Flair (double bundle). It arrived within 2 business days to Melbourne which was a bonus. After 3 shots adjusting the grind and tamp I had a beautiful espresso shot - crema and all! I've had it for a bit over a week now with daily use and can't speak highly enough - I'm living it.Special thanks to Justin and the team for the advice and fast shipping.

Just received my brewista nut
2 August 2020

Just received my brewista nut milk processor and I am super happy. Initially got it to freshly process smaller amount of nut pastes like pistachio to use in gelato and it works well- for small amounts only though, good entry level product and makes AWESOME nut milks with NO annoying nut bag straining, perfect for small cafe operation when you want to offer high quality product for relatively small food cost and are not a big believer in bulls**t packaging. Customers love it too. Super easy to clean and comes with a whole lot of recipes that make me want to spend my next weekend with just my brewista

NutraMilk Nut Processor

Excellent. Wise investment in the kitchen. Makes almond milk with ease. No squeezing out the pulp to get the milk out. Makes wonderful almond milk. Makes better almond milk than the watered down almond milk that you buy in the supermarkets.

NutraMilk machine
6 March 2020

I absolutely love my NutraMilk Machine! It crushes nuts like no ones business to make those lovely creamy nut butters. With just the addition of water, you have nut milk. How good is that? I am still experimenting with other possibilities and have made some lovely nut fudge. It's build to last, the quality is superb and it will outlive me, for sure. Although with all this goodness it produces, maybe not. :)

Such Awesome. Very Wow.
13 September 2018

This is a fantastic manual espresso machine that seems to consistently produce wonderful espresso every time.Very easy to use and clean and look great sitting on my kitchen bench! My only suggestion is that the base should be a flat rubber base instead of having 4 small rubber feet which can cause some instability when pressing down during the process. Very minor detail though.
