It is smaller than I thought however that was my problem, too much plastic covering it guess protect it just difficult to get off, works well still going thanks

Brilliant Basics A4 sheet shredder.

The Brilliant basics A4 sheet shredder has done the job so far, just.It does, however, only do a very few sheets at one time. possible 3 and not the 5 that it is claimed it will do.It also needs a rest after only a few sets of 3 sheets.

Cheap and nasty

Does the job of shredding paper as long as its positioned perfectly and is copy/printer paper. Gets easily jammed. Will refuse to work when it gets too warm after shredding a dozen or so pages.Great for the occasional shredding job for bills etc. Stores away easily as it is compact and the cord can be put inside the bin to tidy it up.

Didn't work for me

Get the machine up from this one. Paper gets stuck. $59 one is streaks ahead.

Does not live up to it's name

Simply wanted a cheap option to periodically shred a few documents and cheap is what I got, what a piece of crap. Place 3 pages through it only shredded half of the page, the other half still totally readable. I do not recommend this product at all, in fact, it should be taken off the shelf, it's garbage. It's louder than it is functional.

Good for the price, it works. Money well spent atm

It works great for the price. It doesnt like more than 2 sheets at a time, but thats ok. Gets hot quickly too. But i only purchased to shred a bill or something with my personal infortmation on when they come in.

Works for 10 minutes then stops

Opened it worked then stopped got a knife and fixed the jam now works. maybe in the future it will have a jam again hope not. Recommended if you are peppered with a Knife next to it. Thanks china :)Probably recommend that 59$ one because it has great reviews.

You get what you pay for

I wanted a cheap shedder for composting and worm farming. The shedder is ok for what I wanted it for. But if you want it to shred for paperwork at home or office, don't get this one. You are suppose to be able to do more than one page at a time. But it's hard to just do one page at a time. If the paper is slightly scrunched or creased, the shredding teeth will not turn on at all. Time consuming and frustrating simply to shred a few sheets.

dodgy product

wont do more than 20 sheets single file before it gets hot and refuses to operate from that point . Pointless to the purpose.

rubbish

Absolute rubbish, don't even consider it. Brought it today and doesn't work properly.
