The Brilliant Lumascan downlight is a fixed downlight with a 9W SMD LED. The LED on the Lumascan is switchable between 3000K Warm White, 4000K Cool White and 5000K Natural White colour temperatures with respective lumen values being 760lm, 840lm and 760lm. The Lumascan produces a 100 degree beam angle and has a Colour Rendering Index of >80. This downlight is IP44 protection rated. The Lumascan has a PIR motion sensor with a 4m detection range and a detection angle of 360°. The duration of the detection timer is 1 minute, and any subsequent detection will restart the minute timer. The daylight sensor ensures that detection only happens with low ambient light.

Great product and works as intended. We installed it our self as it was plug and play and didn't need an electrician so even better.

The Lumascan LED fixed downlight is easy to install, and set up. The only adjustment is the light temperature, time on and light sensitivity is fixed, so no hassle getting the right time or darkness.Being plug in made connecting easy as well when there was already a plug available.

I bought this to install in the entry. It works perfectly as you would expect: it picks up movement in a wide range in the dark and stays on for a reasonable length of time and switches back on straight away when you move again).For what I needed, however, the range is too wide (the entry opens to the living room so every time someone walks past in the living room, the entry lights up) and it needs very low level of light to turn on (so I still fumble in the semi-darkness in the entry in the middle of the day).I would still recommend this product as it works well.

Works well, easy to install. Electrician was happy, and the ic4 rating for contact with insulation makes it even more attractive for people concerned with rising heating and cooling costs.

We are very happy with this product. It works perfectly! It lights up our front entrance really well, and turns on when expected. The slim profile blends in nicely with our low ceiling and means we won't accidently bump it.
